Super Bowl Odds: Bills, Eagles Remain Favorites Despite Losses; Lions, Broncos on the Rise

Despite losing to New England, the Buffalo Bills remain the betting favorite after the Philadelphia Eagles lost their first game of the season to the Denver Broncos.

The are no remaining undefeated teams as the Philadelphia Eagles and Buffalo Bills suffered their first losses of the season, negatively impacting their Super Bowl odds.

The Denver Broncos, who pulled off a 21-17 upset in Philadelphia, ascended the Super Bowl odds leaderboard. The NFL odds favorite, the Bills, remain at the top despite their setback to the New England Patriots at home.

Meanwhile, the Detroit Lions saw their odds improve, and the Baltimore Ravens fell further off the pace after their injury-ravaged roster was handled at home by the Houston Texans.

Super Bowl odds update in real time from our best Super Bowl betting sites.

📈 Biggest risers and fallers after Week 5

  • The Eagles fell from +700 to +800 after losing to Denver at home
  • The Lions (+800) are neck and neck with the Eagles after a straightforward win over the Cincinnati Bengals
  • The Bills (+500) saw their odds decrease from +450 after the SNF loss to New England
  • The Chargers lost consecutive games, and their odds decreased from +1600 to +1800 after losing to the Washington Commanders 27-10 at home
  • You can still get the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at +3000 at FanDuel. However, their odds improved to +1800 at DraftKings after the road win over the Seattle Seahawks
  • The Broncos' odds are at +2700 after their impressive victory over the Eagles
  • The Kansas City Chiefs (+950) face the Jacksonville Jaguars on Monday Night Football

🦬 Bills fall to the Patriots at home

The MVP odds favorite and his Bills lost at home to the Patriots, decreasing their Super Bowl odds in the process. The Patriots displayed a masterclass in how to slow down Allen and his high-octane offense.

It was the first time in five games that the Bills didn't break the 30-point threshold, and just the second time since the start of last season that Buffalo didn't score 30 points at home.

The other instance of a sub-30-point performance at Highmark Stadium also came against the Patriots.

🦁 Lions tame Bengals, neck and neck with Eagles

The Lions did what was expected of them, winning straightforwardly, 37-24, over the reeling Bengals. The Lions have scored at least 34 points in four of five games, with the only exception being their season-opening dud against the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field.

They have scored 174 points through five games, the most in franchise history. If anyone had any doubts about whether offensive coordinator John Morton could seamlessly take the reins after Ben Johnson's departure, we have our answer.

The Lions face two challenging road games against the Chiefs and Buccaneers. If you think they'll fare well in those games, which I do, you should take advantage of the current price offered at FanDuel

🏆️ Lions' best Super Bowl odds (+800)

Venture to FanDuel to find the Lions' best Super Bowl odds, where a winning $10 bet will yield an $80 profit if they lift the Lombardi Trophy for the first time. Those odds imply a 11.11% win probability.

🐎 Broncos prove Super Bowl pedigree in Philly

Our Jackson Cowart has been pumping the Broncos' tires enough not to need air for the foreseeable future.

And with how well they played in Philly against the defending Super Bowl champions, I think he's on to something. After a sluggish start, Bo Nix is starting to find his groove.

The Broncos defense is also finding its range and has entered the defensive DVOA top 10. Led by Nik Bonnito, who had 2.5 sacks on Jalen Hurts, bringing his total to a league-leading 7, the Broncos' defense can always keep them within striking distance.

That's a dangerous proposition for any opponent, and I love the +2700 value offered at FanDuel for them to win their first Super Bowl since 2016.

🏆️ Broncos' best Super Bowl odds (+2700)

Before last week's Monday Night Football victory over the Bengals, the Broncos were trading at +4000.

So, I recommend securing these +2700 odds at FanDuel while you still can. At bet365, the Broncos are trading at +2200, which is where I'd position them. The +2700 odds imply a 3.57% win probability, and a winning $10 bet at FanDuel would yield a $270 profit.

🎯 Best long-shot bets to win the Super Bowl

Our NFL player prop odds features the latest Super Bowl odds for every team and updates live in real time.

🐏 Los Angeles Rams (+1800)

There's no getting around it. The Los Angeles Rams' Week 5 defeat to an injury-ravaged San Francisco 49ers team was not a good look. However, they had their chances and probably should have won. Plus, they have enough veteran leadership to quickly recapture their mojo.

⛏️ San Francisco 49ers (+1800)

Love or despise them, you've gotta give the San Francisco 49ers a ton of credit. Despite being one of the hardest hit by the injury bug, they are sitting on top of the NFC West with an impressive 4-1 record. When they get healthy, look out.

🎖️ Washington Commanders (+2500)

Jayden Daniels didn't miss a beat after returning from a two-week injury layoff. He led his Washington Commanders to a demonstrative 27-10 win over the Chargers in Los Angeles without his primary target, Terry McLaurin. It doesn't appear that any regression from last season's impressive run is forthcoming.

⛵️ Tampa Bay Buccaneers (+2700)

You can still get the Buccaneers at +2700 at FanDuel. However, they're trading at odds as short as +1800 after beating the Seahawks on the road without Bucky Irving. Despite being injury-plagued for most of the season, the Buccaneers are the class of the NFC South.

And with Baker Mayfield's continued heroics, anything is possible for Tampa Bay.

🟢 Seattle Seahawks (+4500)

Sam Darnold will rue his missed opportunity. His late interception cost the Seahawks a chance to drop the Buccaneers. Despite the disappointing turn of events, the Seahawks are for real, and they'll be scrapping and clawing with San Francisco and the Rams to secure first place in the NFC West.
