If the Super Bowl were played using only celebrities from Seattle and Boston, who would play which position - and which city would have the edge in this matchup?

Here are the celebrities from Seattle and Boston who made their Super Bowl celebrity rosters:

With Chris Pratt and Chris Evans leading their teams at quarterback, which side has the edge? We analyze the picks for both teams and break down what the projected spread would be if this game were actually played.

🟢 2026 Super Bowl celebrity rosters: Seattle

Our Super Bowl predictions provide all the content you need heading into the Big Game.

Chris Pratt: Quarterback

Pratt has to be the on-field leader for Seattle, as he famously took on Evans in a Super Bowl bet the last time the Seahawks and Patriots met in the Big Game in 2015.

While the rosters in Santa Clara will be much different from 11 years ago, we’ll maintain the continuity with Star-Lord going up against Captain America once again.

Sir Mix-a-Lot: Running back

If you’ve ever heard “Baby Got Back” (and let’s be honest, who hasn’t?), you know that Sir Mix-a-Lot has a fast-paced, high-energy rapping style.

The Seattle emcee’s skill set lines up perfectly for a high-usage running back. Here’s hoping he likes big blocks and he cannot lie.

Colin Cowherd: Running back

Colin Cowherd may not be from the city of Seattle, but he grew up in Washington state and has been vocal about being a Seahawks fan when he was younger.

Cowherd hosts The Herd, a three-hour show five days a week, mostly monologue, while running The Volume on the side - a network that also features his self-titled podcast. That's just the kind of work ethic you want to see from a running back.

Ghost of Kurt Cobain: Wide receiver

I couldn’t make a list of Seattle celebrities without including Kurt Cobain, even if he joins the team posthumously.

Cobain was one of the biggest stars in music as grunge took over in the ’90s, so listing him at wide receiver feels right, since the position typically features the team’s biggest star after the quarterback. Besides, ghosts can’t be called for offensive pass interference.

Jeff Bezos: Wide receiver

Amazon founder Jeff Bezos moved from New York to Seattle in 1994. That might seem like a pretty low-key move, but what makes him qualified to play wide receiver?

Bezos’ life has been anything but low-key as his success has grown. From his involvement in politics to his star-studded wedding in Venice, Italy, he clearly enjoys being in the public eye - just like a star wide receiver.

Bill Gates: Tight end

Yes, Seattle native Bill Gates is similar to Bezos in the sense that he’s the face of a tech giant, but Gates is also known for his philanthropy.

He has pledged to give 99% of his remaining wealth to the Gates Foundation. So, like a tight end, he gets the shine for scoring touchdowns (co-founding Microsoft) while also blocking for the greater good of the team (philanthropy).

Rainn Wilson, Joel McHale: Offensive tackles

Comedians Rainn Wilson and Joel McHale - famous for playing Dwight on The Office and hosting The Soup, respectively - are known Seahawks fans and have both raised the 12 Flag at Lumen Field.

Pratt will need to have a good rapport with his tackles to stay protected in the pocket, and who better for him to build chemistry with than a pair of fellow comedians?

Bill Nye: Center

Former mechanical engineer and TV star Bill Nye began his career in Seattle in the late ’70s and showed his love for the area by raising the 12 Flag in 2023.

If your greatest weapon is your mind, who wouldn’t want Nye reading the defense and snapping the ball to Pratt?

Macklemore, Mina Kimes: Offensive guards

Two very different careers, but a similar mental toughness that would be valuable in the trenches.

Seattle native Macklemore is a Grammy Award-winning rapper, while Mina Kimes, a vocal Seahawks supporter, is one of the most prominent journalists in sports media.

Both have used their platforms to address social issues and stand up for what they believe in - just the kind of toughness needed to make it as a guard on our Super Bowl celebrity rosters.

🔴 2026 Super Bowl celebrity rosters: Boston

Chris Evans: Quarterback

Evans won his Super Bowl bet against Pratt when the Seahawks faced the Patriots in Super Bowl 49.

As a well-known Patriots fan, he was a natural choice to be the quarterback for the Boston team. And, of course, this is Sportsbook Review - we tend to give a little extra credit to anyone willing to bet on what they believe in, even in a friendly wager.

Bill Burr, Bill Simmons: Running backs

The double-barrel Bill running-back combo would be a nightmare for any defense. Comedian Bill Burr and sports media star Bill Simmons each deserve their own spotlight, but since they share the same name, they’re paired up here.

Both proud Massachusetts natives, if their pride and smarts translate to success on the field, Seattle won’t stand a chance.

Ben Affleck, Matt Damon: Wide receivers

Ben Affleck and Matt Damon, both from the Greater Boston area, are arguably the first names that come to mind when thinking of Boston celebrities. They even starred in a Dunkin’ Donuts ad with Tom Brady - what could be more Boston than that?

Why are they wide receivers? They’re A-list stars, and their accolades are too impressive to ignore. When you have two superstars on the same team - and neither is a quarterback - they’re likely wide receivers racking up touchdowns.

Dave Portnoy: Tight end

Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy is a diehard Patriots fan with the perfect skill set to play tight end.

As one of the more outspoken media company owners, he enjoys the spotlight, much like a receiver celebrating a touchdown. But Portnoy started Barstool by handing out free newspapers to subway commuters, showing he also has the work ethic to block for the team.

John Krasinski, Elizabeth Banks: Offensive tackles

John Krasinski and Elizabeth Banks are the kind of multi-talented Patriots fans you want protecting Evans. Krasinski is known not only for playing Jim on The Office but also as a filmmaker who directed, co-wrote, and co-starred in A Quiet Place.

Banks has been a Hollywood star for more than 20 years and is also a director, writer, and producer. Offensive tackles need a range of skills, and Krasinski and Banks fit the profile.

Peter Griffin: Center

While Family Guy protagonist Peter Griffin isn’t from Boston, he hails from the New England region and even played for the Patriots in the episode “Patriot Games.”

One of the most famous New England residents - real or fictional - he fits many stereotypes of a center: Griffin’s big, strong, and durable, as shown by his countless battles with Ernie the Giant Chicken.

Mark Wahlberg, Donnie Wahlberg: Offensive guards

It’s a shame to have Mark and Donnie Wahlberg this far down the list, but who would you rather have in the trenches, battling for Boston’s pride against Seattle?

The brothers were both born in Dorchester, Boston, and are as talented as they come, with skills ranging from acting and producing to singing and rapping.

With Griffin at center - and he’s a wild card - I’d trust the Wahlberg brothers to pick up his slack when things go sideways.

📊 2026 Super Bowl celebrity rosters: Who has the edge?

Check out all of our NFL analysis and expert predictions for Super Bowl 2026.

Putting on my bookmaker hat to come up with this hypothetical spread wasn’t easy - especially with Griffin and the ghost of Cobain on the rosters.

We can start with history. Evans won a bet over Pratt when the Patriots beat the Seahawks by four points in 2015, so Boston -4 should be our starting number.

Boston’s receiving corps also has an edge, as none of its receivers are ghosts or over 60 years old - that’s worth 1.5 points. However, Seattle’s offensive line doesn’t feature any cartoon characters, which should boost Seattle by about 2.5 points in this matchup.

Projected spread: Boston -3 (+100)
