🏈⚾ The sports equinox parlay 🏀🏒

⬇️ Patrick Mahomes Under 275.5 passing yards (-112)

Yes, we're kicking off the sports equinox parlay with a boring Under - but I wouldn't be dropping this pick if I didn't fully believe in the Kansas City Chiefs. Hear me out - this game is going to be boring, and the Chiefs will be on cruise control come the fourth quarter. What does that mean? Well, fewer attempts for Mahomes, fewer opportunities for him to go over this number.

On top of that, Mahomes has topped 275 passing yards only twice this season. The Chiefs won 31-0 in Week 7, and the quarterback still threw for just 286 yards. While the Washington Commanders' passing defense is swiss cheese, their only path to victory is keeping the ball out of Mahomes' hands, which means keeping to the ground, churning the clock, and playing for short-yardage situations. Let's cash this first leg on Monday Night Football.

Head to DraftKings for this wager, as the -112 betting odds (52.8% implied probability) are among the best you'll see. A $10 bet will net you $8.93 in profit.

Other bets I'm playing: Chiefs -10.5 (-105)

⬆️ George Springer Over 1.5 hits/runs/RBI (-114)

George Springer has been an absolute maniac this postseason, so you know we had to include him in our sports equinox parlay today. Not only has he cashed this bet in 10 of 13 playoff games this October, but he owns a .358 xBA (6-for-13) against Tyler Glasnow in his career, and has one home run against him. With an average exit velocity of 96 mph against the right-hander, I'm looking for him to not only put balls in play, but barrel one or two, which should be enough to win this Over.

Drop this in the parlay at DraftKings at -114 betting odds  - I'd play this all the way up to -120 prior to first pitch.

Other bets I'm playing: Freddie Freeman Over 1.5 bases (+113)

⬆️ Victor Wembanyama Over 28.5 points (-119)

I'm actually surprised this number is as low as it is, considering the incredible start from the early MVP contender. Wembanyama is a massive reason why the Spurs have charged out of the gates with a 3-0 record, averaging 33 points, 13.3 rebounds, and 6.0 blocks. He's truly matchup proof, which rings especially true against a Toronto team that has a tendency to be sloppy on the defensive side of the ball. The Raps have given up 139 and 122 points across their last two games, and are in deep against a Spurs team averaging 121 points per game.

Add this play to your sports equinox parlay at -119 (54.3% implied probability) at DraftKings, and don't be afraid to play this closer to -125.

Other bets I'm playing: Spurs -5.5 (-110)

✅ Pittsburgh Penguins ML vs. St. Louis Blues (+105)

I'm having a difficult time understanding the Penguins getting plus-money here. Yes, they've been outperforming their preseason projections at 6-2-1, but they've been beating some strong teams. With wins against the Kings, Canucks, Panthers, and the Rangers already, we're squeezing a ton of value against St. Louis. Pittsburgh is currently fifth in the NHL in scoring, and is getting an ice-cold Jordan Binnington tonight (3.12 GAA, .872 SV%). He'll have his hands full with the Pittsburgh power play, too, which is connecting at a league-best 33.33%. The more I look at this play, the more I love it.

Let's put the finishing touches on our sports equinox parlay here, with a +105 price implying a 48.8% chance this play cashes. I'd price this closer to -105.

Other bets I'm playing: Bryan Rust Over 2.5 SOG (-125)
