Sanders had a near impossible task in his first appearance last week against the Baltimore Ravens, who sent the house on nearly every play to disrupt his timing and execution throughout the game. Sanders struggled to avoid sacks and held the ball too long in college, and he clearly hasn't dramatically improved in his first NFL season, finishing with a historically low 13.5 QBR in his first game.

For his second career game and first start, I anticipate the Raiders' defense replicating what the Ravens scripted the week prior with a healthy dose of blitzing. I expect the Browns to feature a very run-dominant game plan to help the rookie quarterback settle in, which will limit Sanders' passing opportunities and should help us go comfortably Under 15.5 completions.

⬆️ Shedeur Sanders Over 0.5 passing TDs (-150) ⭐⭐⭐

My second favorite player prop on Sanders is for the rookie signal-caller to throw his first passing touchdown. The Raiders' defense is nothing to write home about, and they have allowed 16 passing touchdowns already this season in only 10 games.

Now, do I think Sanders will throw for multiple touchdowns? I do not, but I do believe he will get one. The Raiders will be blitzing all game as I alluded to earlier, but this should allow at least one break in coverage, and Sanders should be able to find one of his receivers deep on one of those plays. The Browns do have several playmaking pass-catchers like Jerry Jeudy and David Njoku, and I suspect one of those two could help cash this for us.

⬇️ Shedeur Sanders Under 157.5 passing yards (-114) ⭐⭐⭐

My third and final Sanders prop probably comes as no surprise, but I am backing Sanders to throw for less than 158 passing yards. As I have alluded to several times, for the Browns to have a successful game, they will need to pound the rock on the ground all game long. Letting Sanders stand in the pocket and pass all game will be a recipe for disaster.

In his first game, Sanders had four completions for 47 yards and threw an interception. In a low-scoring game, that type of play will completely lose you the contest. The Browns can't risk that in this spot, as this is a very winnable game against the two-win Raiders. I wouldn't be surprised if Sanders falls below 100 yards, so I think we're getting great value here fading a total north of 150.
