Seahawks vs. Patriots Prediction: Expert Picks and Betting Analysis for Super Bowl 2026
Last Updated: February 6, 2026 1:32 PM EST • 5 minute read X Social Google News Link
The Super Bowl rematch, 11 years in the making, is finally happening on Sunday, and my Seahawks vs. Patriots prediction expects Seattle to get its revenge on New England for Malcolm Butler's end zone interception in 2015.
The Seahawks are a 4.5-point betting favorite for Sunday's 6:30 p.m. ET (NBC, Peacock) kick from Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif., in a game that many Super Bowl predictions project to be one-sided.

Many people are wondering, are the Patriots the worst team in Super Bowl history? I won't go that far, but they are clearly the lesser team on paper against a Seahawks' defense that ranks in the top 15 all-time by DVOA.
The Patriots played the easiest schedule in the regular season, and all three of their playoff wins have come against teams dealing with major injuries. New England's luck is bound to run out on Sunday against a Seattle team that's 8-2 against playoff teams this season.
Seattle's outscored playoff teams by an average margin of 9.1 points.
Score prediction: Seahawks 24, Patriots 17

🙌 Super Bowl touchdown scorer prediction: Jaxon Smith-Njigba first TD scorer (+500)
Check out how we expect the announcement of Klint Kubiak to the Raiders to impact Seattle in the Super Bowl.
The freshly announced NFL Offensive Player of the Year is poised to put on a show in the Super Bowl. Jaxon Smith-Njigba has scored a first-half touchdown in both of Seattle's playoff games, and as our Gary Pearson points out in his Super Bowl long shot bets to make now, JSN has even scored the opening possession TD in two games this season.
The Ohio State product has tallied 12 touchdowns in his last 17 games, hence his minus-money odds at our best Super Bowl betting sites to score in the Big Game. But given his proven ability to impact a game immediately, I love taking him to score first on Sunday.
This New England defense has managed to avoid All-Pro-level receivers this season, with Nico Collins missing the Houston Texans' playoff loss and Ja'Marr Chase suspended for the Cincinnati Bengals' regular-season loss. For that reason, our Liam Fox backs Smith-Njigba to score as well in his best Seahawks vs. Patriots player props.
🛡️ Key matchup: The Macdonald defense vs. Drake Maye
Looking to back Seattle's ferocious defense against the Patriots? Dive into how to bet on the Seahawks' historic defense in the Super Bowl.
Though Drake Maye lost the MVP to Matthew Stafford by just one first-place vote, the former No. 3 overall pick is still one of the youngest QBs in Super Bowl history. That youth has shown throughout the playoffs, with Maye putting up just a 51.1 QBR through three games after finishing with a 77.1 QBR in the regular season.
He played just one defense that finished top 12 in EPA per play during the regular season, and now he plays a fourth straight in the Super Bowl. Not only were the Seahawks top 12 in EPA per play on defense in the regular season, but they were No. 1.
That's why I'm all in on fading Drake Maye in the Super Bowl, not only by taking him to throw at least one interception (-139), but by backing the Seahawks' defensive line to have a field day.
Maye has been the most sacked QB of the playoffs (15), going down five times in each of his three playoff games, and he has by far the highest pressure-to-sack rate of the postseason (45.5%).
And with the way Leonard Williams and DeMarcus Lawrence have played, I think they'll both tally sacks in the Super Bowl (+410 SGP) and one of them will take home MVP honors.
