I'm backing San Francisco in my Seahawks vs. 49ers predictions for the most significant game of the regular season.

One of three title games in Week 18 takes us to Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif., where the NFC West and the conference's No. 1 seed are on the line as I back San Francisco in my Seahawks vs. 49ers predictions.

The 49ers, who opened as the 1.5-point betting favorite, are now the 1.5-point betting underdog. Both teams have won six in a row entering this week, but I see the home team providing the better bet as part of our NFL predictions for Week 18. Saturday's prime-time game is set for 8 p.m. ET (ESPN/ABC).

49ers ML (-108) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

The resilience this 49ers team has shown is off-the-charts impressive. They're in a position to secure the NFC's No. 1 seed despite having to cope with more early-season injuries than a physiotherapist clinic.

The 49ers are 6-0 since Brock Purdy's return to the lineup, scoring at least 37 points four times. While they'll have their work cut out against a Seattle team with the league's best defensive DVOA, the 49ers offense is in peak form.

Purdy has accounted for 13 TDs in the previous three games (11 passing, two rushing) while throwing just two picks.

Sam Darnold, meanwhile, has been a turnover machine recently, tossing four picks in the last four games. As if the 49ers needed more motivation, they won't have to go on the road again this season with a victory, including for the Super Bowl.
