With several players on pace for a historic season, FanDuel dropped its regular-season record-breaker specials for bettors to get their hands on. From Los Angeles Rams wideout Puka Nacua looking to break the single-season receiving record, to Tampa Bay Buccaneers receiver Emeka Egbuka potentially taking down the rookie receiving touchdown record, which NFL player props should you target among potential record breakers?

👐 Puka Nacua to break single-season receiving yards record ⭐⭐⭐

  • Puka Nacua receiving yards: 588 receiving yards
  • Single-season receiving yards record: 1,965 receiving yards
  • Pace to break record: 114 yards per game needed

Out of the six record-breaking specials FanDuel is offering, this one is the most likely to hit in my opinion.

While Nacua will still need to average about 114 yards per game moving forward, there's reason to believe he can break the single-season receiving record and cash your NFL record player prop.

For one, Nacua has been an absolute machine this season. He's averaging 14 targets, 11 catches, and 117.6 yards per game - a career high in each category. Is that good? I believe so.

If he can continue this average, there's reason to believe that Nacua can not only break this record, but absolutely smash it. Cooper Kupp (1,947 yards) and Calvin Johnson (1,965 yards) are the two players who own the most single-season yards in the history of the NFL. Nacua, who's on pace for 1,999 yards, has something in common with his fellow receivers - Matthew Stafford quarterbacked all three.

The Rams have cupcake matchups against the Baltimore Ravens (who've been torched for 262 yards per game through the air), New Orleans Saints, Carolina Panthers, and Arizona Cardinals on deck. If Nacua can continue to burn secondaries and have corners fighting for their lives trying to cover him, No. 12 can break this record.

You're in line for a decent payout if Nacua can get it done, as a $10 wager will return $75 at +750 betting odds at FanDuel.

Jonathan Taylor to break the single-season rushing yards record ⭐⭐⭐

  • Jonathan Taylor rushing yards: 480 rushing yards
  • Single-season rushing yards record: 2,510 rushing yards
  • Pace to break record: 169 yards per game needed

Not only did I have Taylor leading the league in rushing in our NFL stat leader predictions prior to the season, but he now has a legitimate shot at breaking the single-season rushing record held by Eric Dickerson in 1984.

Taylor is first in the league in rushing by 30 yards, averaging 5.11 yards per carry. With the heavy volume he sees (averaging close to 20 carries per game), he does have a shot, but he'll have to string together a handful of incredible games over the next few weeks, starting with a cupcake matchup against the Arizona Cardinals in Week 6.

He needs to average around 169 yards per game for the rest of the year to come close to breaking the single-season rushing record. Not only that, he needs to remain healthy. Does he have a shot behind one of the best teams and offensive lines in the NFL?

You're in line for a great return if he does, as a $10 bet at +1100 betting odds will net you $110 in profit.
