Packers -3 (-105) ⭐⭐⭐⭐
With a pair of backup quarterbacks expected to take the field on Saturday night, I’m giving the edge to the defense in which I have more trust. The Packers rank ninth in scoring defense (20.2 PPG) while the Ravens rank 16th (23.2 PPG) and have allowed 27+ points in three of their past four contests.
After Drake Maye torched the Baltimore defense for 380 passing yards, I look for Malik Willis to hold his own and be the difference in the game compared to my mild expectations for Tyler Huntley.
Romeo Doubs Over 24.5 rushing yards (-116) ⭐⭐⭐⭐
The Ravens have allowed 2,473 yards to wide receivers, sixth-most in the NFL. Although Jordan Love is inactive, this could be a favorable spot for Willis to connect with a reliable receiving target given the soft matchup against Baltimore’s pass defense.
Romeo Doubs should have something to prove after his muffed onside kick recovery cost Green Bay last week. Doubs had a 33-yard touchdown reception from Willis, and has cleared 24.5 receiving yards 11 times in 15 games this season (73.3%).
Malik Willis Under 33.5 rushing yards (-111) ⭐⭐⭐⭐
A notable part of Willis performing as an effective quarterback is his ability to use his legs to keep the defense off balance. But the Ravens aren’t a favorable matchup for Willis’ rushing prowess, as Baltimore has allowed just one opposing quarterback to clear a 33.5-yard rushing line all season.
Though Willis scampered for 44 yards in relief of Jordan Love last week, Chicago wasn’t gameplanning to stop the QB run. I look for the Ravens to prepare for Willis’ legs, forcing him to beat them with his arm instead.
