Revisiting the 2025 matchups ahead of the NFC Championship Game

The Rams and Seahawks are gearing up for their third showdown of the season on Sunday afternoon - but this one comes, of course, in a do-or-die game with a trip to the Super Bowl on the line. If you look into their regular-season matchups this year, the margin for error will be razor-thin, with both teams winning one-score games against each other, by no more than two points. Let's break 'em down:

Week 11: Rams 21, Seahawks 19

The Rams picked off Sam Darnold four times and held the Seahawks without a touchdown for nearly the entire game until the final three minutes of the fourth quarter. On the other side of the ball, Los Angeles’ offense punched in three scores against Seattle’s vaunted defense. Matthew Stafford threw for 130 yards and two touchdowns, while Darnold had four turnovers and no touchdowns. This game was the blueprint the Rams have to follow to win come Sunday.

Week 16: Seahawks 38, Rams 37 (OT)

The Seahawks overcame a 16-point deficit to win this one, converting a 2-point attempt in overtime to even the season matchup at 1-1.  The Rams were up 30-14 in the fourth quarter and cruising until Rasheed Shaheed kicked off the comeback with a punt return. Stafford was incredible in this one, throwing for 457 yards and three touchdowns, while Darnold threw for 270 yards, two touchdowns, and two picks.
