Rams vs. Seahawks Prediction & Opening Odds: NFC Championship Preview, Expert Pick

NFC West rivals will meet at Lumen Field in the NFC Championship on Sunday (6:30 p.m. ET, FOX) to determine which team will advance to Super Bowl 2026, and I'm backing Matthew Stafford and Co. in my Rams vs. Seahawks prediction. 

The Seahawks are the early 2.5-point home betting favorite after thrashing San Francisco 41-6 in the Divisional Round. While Mike Macdonald's team was the most impressive in the Divisional Round, the Rams showcased their ability to overcome stiff adversity in adverse conditions and a hostile environment. That should serve them well in Sunday's rubber match.

Rams +2.5 (-110) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

I'm backing presumed regular-season MVP Stafford to make the difference in Seattle. The Rams are more battle-tested in the playoffs, which should benefit them in what should be a tight, back-and-forth affair. 

And while Seattle has the better defense, ranked first in the regular season, the Rams boasted the league's top-ranked offense (via DVOA), compared to the Seahawks' 10th-ranked unit. 

Macdonald's team is inarguably fresher, particularly after trouncing San Francisco in a relatively effortless Divisional Round tilt. However, I give the edge to a Rams team that went through the wringer yet prevailed in both previous playoff games.
