The Rams will bring their proficient offense to Chicago to clash with a Bears team that just won its first postseason game in over a decade. Prediction markets think that's the end of the road.
Heading into the weekend, the Rams are trading at 63%, with the Bears at 37%. Our odds converter let us know that those figures equate to -170 odds on Los Angeles and +170 odds on Chicago.

I'm once again going back to the experience well in the Divisional Round, siding with the Matthew Stafford-led Rams that have claimed a Super Bowl. Los Angeles brings a stouter defense and one of the league's most electric offenses, leading the league in total yards/game and total points/game. Chicago is also prone to giving up touchdowns to receivers, which is a disaster in the making against Puka Nacua and Davante Adams.

โ๏ธ Rams vs. Bears spread & Over/Under at prediction markets
| Outcome | Yes | No |
|---|---|---|
| Rams -3.5 | 53 cents (-104) | 49 cents (+104) |
| Over 47.5 | 54 cents (-117) | 48 cents (+117) |
Our prediction: Over 47.5
It's becoming a regular occurence to see a shootout in Rams games. Los Angeles has allowed 20 or more points in five straight games, and has given up at least 30 in three of those outings. Chicago allowed a whopping 20 TDs to wideouts in the regular season (fourth most in the league), and opened the playoffs by allowing four through the air to Packers QB Jordan Love. It's time for Puka Nacua and Davante Adams to shine.

๐ฐ Rams vs. Bears touchdown prediction: Puka Nacua to score anytime touchdown (50.98%)
The Bears give up TDs to wideouts, and Nacua is as likely as anyone to find pay dirt. While teammate Davante Adams finished with 14 scores to Nacua's 10 in the regular season, we're siding with recent performances. Adams was held out of the end zone in his last two games of the regular season, then missed three games with injury, and again failed to score in the Wild Card Round; Nacua has scored in five of the last six games, celebrating 7 scores in that span. They might both score by the time the dust settles, but I'm siding with Nacua.
What is Kalshi and how does it work?
Kalshi is a U.S.-regulated prediction market exchange, overseen by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission, where you trade on the outcome of real-world events by buying and selling simple contracts that pay out $1 if a specific result happens and $0 if it does not. Think of it like betting with a stock-market-style order book instead of a sportsbook. For example, in an NFL-style market, there could be a contract asking whether the Buffalo Bills will win the Super Bowl. If you think they will, you might buy a โYesโ contract at 35 cents, which implies a 35 percent chance. If the Bills win, that contract settles at $1, meaning you make 65 cents per contract. If they lose, it settles at $0. Prices move based on supply and demand as traders buy and sell, so the market itself reflects the crowdโs collective probability. Unlike traditional betting, you can sell your position early to lock in profit or cut losses, and the focus is on forecasting outcomes rather than beating a fixed house line.
How does Kalshi differ from sportsbooks?
Kalshi differs from sportsbooks because you are trading against other users in an open market, not betting against a house that sets and moves the line. Prices are driven by supply and demand, you can exit positions early by selling, and odds are expressed as probabilities in cents rather than traditional spreads or moneylines. Sportsbooks, by contrast, offer fixed wagers with built-in vig and no ability to trade once the bet is placed.
Why should I wager on Rams vs. Bears at Kalshi?
Kalshi offers four unique advantages over traditional sportsbooks:
- Flexibility: Unlike a "locked-in" bet, you can sell your contract at any time.
- Transparency: You trade against other users, which can allow you to find better value.
- Federal regulation: As a CFTC-regulated exchange, your funds are held in a secure, transparent environment.
- Availability: Kalshi is available in many regions where traditional sportsbooks aren't yet legal.
