Sam Darnold (SEA) Over 1.5 passing touchdowns (-108)
For Seattle to beat New England in the Super Bowl, it probably means Sam Darnold finally flips the script on his big-game reputation. He's cleared this number nine times this season and is coming off a dominant NFC Championship performance with 346 yards and three touchdowns through the air. Facing a Patriots defense that hasn’t been tested by top-tier offenses during its playoff run, I’m comfortable backing Darnold to come through once again. Remember, this is a guy that ranked top 10 in football in nearly every passing category this season. Count on him - I'm loving Darnold in my Seahawks vs. Patriots prediction.
🏆️ Super Bowl MVP?
In his debut season with Seattle, Sam Darnold - who's the favorite on the Super Bowl MVP odds board - etched his name alongside Tom Brady as the only quarterbacks ever to post consecutive 14-win campaigns. At +115 odds, if you believe in the Seahawks to win, you might ad well parlay Darnold to win SB MVP.
Sam Darnold (SEA) Over 228.5 passing yards (-110)
Darnold eclipsed this number 11 times during the regular season and blew past it against the Rams in the NFC Championship. Even if this game plays out lower-scoring overall, New England hasn't seen an offense with Seattle's level of firepower. With so many ways to attack a defense, this line feels mispriced. I’m expecting Darnold to silence the lingering doubts once and for all.
Drake Maye (NE) Over 37.5 rushing yards (-110)
If the postseason has shown us anything, it’s that Drake Maye - who's featured in my Super Bowl player props - isn’t shy about putting the offense on his shoulders. In two of his three playoff appearances, he's logged double-digit carries and topped 60 rushing yards both times. Seattle's pass rush should collapse the pocket on Sunday, forcing Maye to rely on his mobility even more. If his usage mirrors what we’ve seen throughout the playoffs, this one should cash fairly easily.
❌️ Do not touch Maye's passing number
Seattle is going to be in the kitchen of Maye all night long. Even if Seattle jumps ahead, the Patriots will stick to the ground game. Maye's 220.5 passing number is just too high to gamble on.
