Who is currently more clutch than the Los Angeles Rams' Matthew Stafford? Nobody is the correct answer.

Drake Maye, Daniel Jones, and Sam Darnold fans might argue that assertion, but our QB power rankings, which evaluate how clutch each NFL starter is, have reached a verdict. Don't take anything away from aforementioned trio, though, as they are in hot pursuit of the elder statesman. The analysis below complements our Week 11 NFL predictions

🏅 Best clutch performances last week

🐏 Matthew Stafford making 4 TDs look easy

Stafford is attempting to become the sixth quarterback to win MVP since the turn of the millennium who is at least 37 years old. As the MVP odds co-favorite, he's in a good position to do so with seven weeks remaining.

In the last three games, Stafford threw 13 TD passes and no interceptions, setting an NFL record for a three-game span. Since Week 4, he has 20 TD passes and no interceptions.

Stafford has 25 TD passes, five more than second-place Jared Goff, and he is tied with Baker Mayfield for the fewest interceptions among QBs with nine starts (2).

Against the San Francisco 49ers in Week 10, Stafford nonchalantly tossed a no-look pass. He also had a sidearm dart that was almost as impressive. Remember when people were saying his bad back would lead to the Rams' downfall?

Instead, they are tied for the division lead with the 7-2 Seattle Seahawks. The Rams are now among the Super Bowl odds favorites, and Stafford looks poised to remain atop these power rankings entering the business end of the season.

🐻 Caleb Williams comes up clutch in 4th quarter

I'll first add the caveat that the Chicago Bears wouldn't have been in a position to pull off the improbable Week 10 comeback had Jaxson Dart not been sidelined late with an injury. Russell Wilson is the antithesis of clutch, a quarterback who appears unnerved by the very thought of entering the field of play.

You could feel the optimism at Soldier Field spike when Wilson's number was called.

Caleb Williams deserves props for taking his opportunity, though. The Bears were down 10 points when they got the ball back with 6:20 remaining in the fourth quarter.

He orchestrated two TD drives, securing his third fourth-quarter comeback of the season. In doing so, he ascended these QB power rankings, moving from 13th last week to sixth entering Week 11.

🪖 Drake Maye sets stage for MVP run

Maye, the MVP odds co-favorite with a quarterback 14 years his elder, led the New England Patriots to their seventh successive win.

While Maye completed a season-low 51.6% of his passes in Week 10, he found a way to beat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on the road in a hostile environment.

He finished the game with 270 passing yards, two TDs, and an interception. As has become customary, he also completed another bomb downfield. As you can see below, Maye ranks among the top three in various categories on 20-plus yard passes.

🗒️ More Week 10 takeaways

  • Bo Nix, Williams, and Baker Mayfield are tied with the most fourth-quarter comebacks this season (4)
  • Only Williams and Daniel Jones pulled off fourth-quarter comebacks in Week 10
  • Lamar Jackson moved from 10th to seventh in the power rankings after consecutive wins (and covers) since returning to the lineup
  • Despite a lackluster outing against the Las Vegas Raiders, Nix remains among the most clutch QBs, thanks in part to mounting four fourth-quarter comebacks
  • Justin Herbert improved from 12th to seventh, returning to where he was situated in the season's early goings
