🟢 Seahawks +1.5 (-112)

The two best teams in the NFL meet again a few weeks after the Rams escaped with a 2-point home win. The Seahawks could have won that game if not for a few back-breaking INTs from Sam Darnold. With home-field advantage in this one, I'm shocked to see the Rams favored outright on the road and will gladly take the points accordingly.

Eagles vs. Commanders odds & prediction

• Location: Northwest Stadium (Landover, Md.)

🦅 Eagles -5.5 (-115)

I know it's trendy to trash the Eagles, but they did just embarrass a Raiders team that, frankly, isn't much worse than the Commanders right now. It feels like the betting market isn't fully accounting for how bad Washington's defense is, and I'm happy to take advantage.

Packers vs. Bears odds & prediction

• Date: Saturday, Dec. 20
• Kickoff: 8:20 p.m. ET
• Location: Soldier Field (Chicago)
• TV: NBC

🐻 Bears +2.5 (-115)

These teams just played toe-to-toe at Lambeau Field in a game that the Bears came a few inches away from winning if not for a miraculous play by Green Bay's defense to win it. With Micah Parsons sidelined and Chicago hosting the rematch, I'm expecting an outright upset from the NFC North leaders.

Bills vs. Browns odds & prediction

• Location: Huntington Bank Field (Cleveland)
• TV: CBS

🦬 Bills -10 (-110)

The Bills are on a different level right now offensively with the way Josh Allen and James Cook are playing in tandem. Buffalo's defense is ripe for exploitation, but I don't have enough faith in the Browns offense to match blows with the Bills in a game the visitors can't afford to lose.

Buccaneers vs. Panthers odds & prediction

Do either of these teams actually want to win the NFC North? While the Panthers' loss last week was tough, the Bucs' loss was demoralizing, and they've looked like a team in peril for months. I can't stomach laying points on Tampa Bay on the road.

Chargers vs. Cowboys odds & prediction

• Location: AT&T Stadium (Arlington, Texas)

The Cowboys' season is effectively over after last week's loss to the Vikings, and while motivation isn't everything in the NFL, it doesn't bode well against a trending Chargers team that should be able to move the ball even with their O-line woes.

Jets vs. Saints odds & prediction

• Location: Caesars Superdome (New Orleans)

⚜️ Saints -4 (-110)

The Saints have long been eliminated from the playoffs, but don't sleep on Tyler Shough and a defense that has improved over time to become a legitimate unit. The Jets don't inspire confidence in me to threaten on the road against a surging Saints squad.

Vikings vs. Giants odds & prediction

• Location: MetLife Stadium (East Rutherford, N.J.)

🟣 Vikings -2.5 (-113)

I'm not ready to fully buy into J.J. McCarthy as a franchise quarterback, but he's shown enough over the last two weeks to expect a decent showing against bad defenses. Cue the Giants, who need a reckless Jaxson Dart to stay on the field to have any shot at an upset.

Chiefs vs. Titans odds & prediction

• Location: Nissan Stadium (Nashville, Tenn.)
• TV: CBS

⚔️ Titans +3.5 (-110)

Even after losing Patrick Mahomes for the season after being eliminated from the playoffs, the Chiefs are still laying more than a field goal on the road against a plucky Titans squad. Color me skeptical that Kansas City, which has won once since October, deserves to be the favorite here.

Bengals vs. Dolphins odds & prediction

• Date: Sunday, Dec. 21

• Location: Hard Rock Stadium (Miami Gardens, Fla.)
• TV: CBS

🐬 Dolphins -1.5 (-105)

While Joe Burrow and the Bengals struggle to reclaim their joy amid a lost season, the Dolphins appear to be having a blast after turning their season around. With the way Miami's run game is operating, the Bengals' defense could be in a world of hurt on Sunday.

Jaguars vs. Broncos odds & prediction

• Date: Sunday, Dec. 21
• Kickoff: 4:05 p.m. ET
• Location: Empower Field at Mile High (Denver)
• TV: CBS

🐎 Broncos -3 (-105)

Two of the hottest teams in the AFC meet in a surprising matchup of legit contenders in Week 15. While I completely buy the Jaguars' recent run, the Broncos defense is too tough to bet against right now as a slim home favorite, especially with Bo Nix playing some of the best football of his career.

Falcons vs. Cardinals odds & prediction

• Date: Sunday, Dec. 21
• Kickoff: 4:05 p.m. ET
• Location: State Farm Stadium (Glendale, Ariz.)
• TV: FOX

🌵 Cardinals +2.5 (-115)

Friends don't let friends bet the Falcons as a road favorite, especially in a game that means virtually nothing to either side. Atlanta has been too inconsistent week to week to trust, leaving some rare value on the Cards.

Raiders vs. Texans odds & prediction

• Date: Sunday, Dec. 21
• Kickoff: 4:25 p.m. ET
• Location: NRG Stadium (Houston)
• TV: CBS

🏴‍☠️ Raiders +14.5 (-105)

I'm as high on the Texans' defense as the next guy, but this is simply too many points to lay for a Houston team that prefers to win dogfights. If you can't stomach the thought of backing the Raiders (which is fair), I'd be eyeing the Under in this game, too.

Steelers vs. Lions odds & prediction

• Location: Ford Field (Detroit)
• TV: FOX

🦁 Lions -7 (-105)

I don't love the idea of laying a full touchdown on a team that has teetered on the brink of disaster at times this season. Still, the Lions are a cut above the Steelers, who have feasted on weak competition despite some serious issues of their own on both sides of the ball.

Patriots vs. Ravens odds & prediction

• Date: Sunday, Dec. 21
• Kickoff: 8:20 p.m. ET
• Location: M&T Bank Stadium (Baltimore)
• TV: NBC

🪖 Patriots +2.5 (-105)

It's tempting to buy into the Ravens after that blowout win over the Bengals last week, but we simply haven't seen that type of play come against a team that didn't sport a historically bad defense. The Patriots' defense has its issues, but their offense should find success deep against these Ravens corners. I'm surprised oddsmakers consider these teams on equal footing on a neutral field, and Baltimore playing at home isn't enough for me to ignore the points on the better side.

49ers vs. Colts odds & prediction

• Date: Monday, Dec. 22
• Kickoff: 8:15 p.m. ET
• Location: Lucas Oil Stadium (Indianapolis)
• TV: ESPN

⛏️ 49ers -5.5 (-105)

Philip Rivers avoided an embarrassing return to the NFL with a narrow loss to the Seahawks last week, but he clearly doesn't have zip on his throws and the Colts' offense suffered accordingly. I don't expect Indy to pull off the magic act this week against a 49ers team finally clicking.
