An NFC North rivalry ends Week 17, and our Packers vs. Vikings NFL player props for Sunday Night Football based on the best SNF odds help end it on a high note at the NFL prop betting sites.

The final game of Week 17 features two NFC teams clinging to a wild-card spot. The Minnesota Vikings and the Green Bay Packers, standing at 7-8, need to take this matchup to stay alive in the playoff pursuit.

Minnesota secured a victory in their earlier season matchup against Green Bay. However, they have lost four of their last five games heading into Sunday night. On the other hand, the Packers have won four of their last six contests and hold an even 5-5 record against the NFC North.

Green Bay Over 2.5 total sacks (-125 via ESPN Bet) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The Packers are averaging 2.4 sacks per game this season. They have eclipsed this total in three of their last five games, including registering four sacks on Baker Mayfield two weeks ago. The last time they faced the Vikings, they sacked Kirk Cousins twice. 

Minnesota quarterbacks have been sacked an average of 2.6 times per game combined this year. Most recently, Nick Mullens has been sacked seven times over the last two weeks. This week, the Vikings hand the ball to Jaren Hall, who has been brought down only once behind the line of scrimmage in his two appearances this year.

Jonathan Owens Over 6.5 tackles+assists (+100 via BetMGM) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Owens is averaging 5.6 total tackles per game in his 2023 season. However, he has registered at least seven tackles in six of his last eight games. He has amassed 19 combined tackles over his last matchups. The Green Bay safety was held to just three tackles and assists the last time he played against the Vikings.

Green Bay is averaging the eighth-most total tackles per game (64.7) this year. That number ramps up to 67 away from Lambeau Field. The Packers are surrendering an average of 20.9 completions over their 15 games this season. Opposing safeties have combined for 30 total tackles in the last two matchups against the Vikings.

Ty Chandler Under 52.5 rushing yards (+140 via ESPN Bet) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Chandler has gained 352 yards on 80 carries this season. He is averaging just 32 yards per game over his 11 appearances this year. In fact, he has only surpassed 53 rushing yards in two games in which he has played. His upside will take a hit this week as it was announced that Alexander Mattison had been cleared to play Sunday Night. 

The Packers are giving up the third-most rushing yards per game (135.9) in the league so far this year. However, they are giving up just over 101 yards on the ground to opposing running backs per game this season. Green Bay held Minnesota to 62 total rushing yards in their last meeting with the Vikings. Mattison accounted for 31 of those yards.
