Packers vs. Lions Player Props for Thanksgiving: NFL Week 13

Jordan Love, Amon-Ra St. Brown and Jameson Williams are featured among my best Packers vs. Lions player props for a Thanksgiving matchup at Ford Field in Detroit (1 p.m. ET, Fox). 

The Lions are a scant 2.5-point betting favorite against their NFC North rivals, and my three picks for Thursday’s contest are part of our batch of NFL predictions for Week 13.

💰 Best Packers vs. Lions player props: Thanksgiving

⬇️ Jordan Love player prop: Under 230.5 passing yards (-113) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

It might seem insane to recommend this wager on Packers quarterback Jordan Love, given the fact that Jameis Winston just went to Detroit and turned 18 completions into 366 yards. But I’m willing to chalk that up to one bad day at the office for the Lions’ secondary.

Prior to Week 12, that secondary held four straight QBs — Jalen Hurts, Marcus Mariota, J.J. McCarthy and Baker Mayfield — to a combined 56.7% completion rate and 135, 213, 143 and 228 passing yards, respectively. Meanwhile, Love has thrown for 139, 174 and 176 in his last three contests. He also only had 188 yards against the Lions in Week 1 and 206 yards in Motown last season.

⬇️ Amon-Ra St. Brown player prop: Under 74.5 receiving yards (-133) ⭐⭐⭐

Amon-Ra St. Brown is coming off a season-high 149 receiving yards against the Giants. It was the third time this year that the Lions’ standout receiver surpassed the century mark. But it followed two down games (58 yards at Washington, 42 yards at Philadelphia).

St. Brown also only managed 45 yards in the season opener at Green Bay. This after 56- and 43-yard efforts against the Packers in 2024. In fact, in nine career games against this particular division rival, St. Brown has eclipsed 56 yards only twice: 95 yards in 2023 and 109 yards in the 2022 finale (his rookie campaign). This year, the Packers have the NFL’s fifth-stingiest secondary. Only two opposing wideouts have cleared 70 yards.

6️⃣ Best Packers vs. Lions touchdown scorer bet: Thanksgiving

🔥 Jameson Williams TD pick: Score anytime touchdown (+180) ⭐⭐

It’s been feast or famine for Jameson Williams lately. Detroit’s speedy wideout bageled against the Buccaneers in Week 6 and again last week versus the Giants: five total targets, zero catches. In three games in between, though, Williams had 14 receptions for 273 yards, and he scored in each contest.

Williams also had six catches for 66 yards and a TD in Week 5 at Kansas City. In all, he’s reached the end zone five times since Week 2. To be fair, he’s struggled in his career against Green Bay (including zero TDs). Still, I’m high on Williams to get back in the scoring column Thursday against the Packers, who have surrendered 13 passing TDs.
