The Green Bay Packers and Dallas Cowboys are each coming off losses as favorites, but my Packers vs. Cowboys prediction sides with Green Bay amid Dallas’ key injuries.

The Packers are 6.5-point betting favorites on Sunday Night Football, while looking to stay atop the NFC North division. Kickoff from AT&T Stadium in Arlington is set for 8:20 p.m. ET (NBC).

My NFL picks not only back Green Bay’s point spread at under a touchdown, but expects Micah Parsons to live in Dallas’ backfield in his first game back against his former team. It’s all part of our NFL predictions for Week 4.

🧀 Packers -6.5 (-115) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Green Bay’s Week 3 loss to Cleveland was inexcusable, especially since it had won 300 straight regular season games when building at least a 10-point lead in the final four minutes of the fourth quarter. But this is not a reason to jump off its bandwagon, and my many concerns around Dallas are why this is my Sunday Night Football best bet.

The Cowboys defense has been a sieve this season, ranking 31st in yards per play allowed (6.5). Dallas has also allowed an NFL-worst five plays of at least 25 yards.

I expect Packers quarterback Jordan Love to carve up a pass defense that ranks 29th in completion percentage allowed (77%), last in yards per attempt (10.4), last in touchdown percentage (7.8), and last in Total QBR (73) in zone coverage this year.

As long as Green Bay cleans up its 14 penalties (the team’s most in 15 seasons) that it committed last week, it should roll against a Cowboys team playing without top wideout CeeDee Lamb.

I would pass on the Packers at anything more than a touchdown, but thankfully they are at -6.5 across the market. The best price is at Caesars, one of the only top sports betting sites charging less than -120 in juice to lay the points. Through its -115 odds at a 53.49% implied probability, a $10 winning wager would net $8.70 in profits.

🔥 Micah Parsons to record a sack (-144) ⭐⭐⭐

Micah Parsons is coming off a game where he had five quarterback pressures against the Browns. His 14 quarterback pressures are tied for the most in the NFL, and his 17 pass rush wins (per NFL Next Gen Stats) are the most of any defensive player.

Dallas’ offensive line cannot only focus on Parsons, as teammates Rashan Gary and Lukas Van Ness have added nine and seven quarterback pressures, respectively.

Green Bay’s 52 total quarterback pressures ranks second, and that makes Parsons’ 59.02% implied odds to record a sack against his former team seem like a steal.

Through FanDuel’s -144 odds, a $10 wager would net $6.94 in profits if Parsons finishes with at least one sack.
