While many will be focused on who wins the NFC South, Saturday's Panthers vs. Buccaneers matchup also features two wide receivers who rank in the top five of the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year odds entering the final week of the regular season.
Let's look at Tetairoa McMillan's and Emeka Egbuka's odds and candidacy to take home the award at NFL Honors next month as part of our NFL Week 18 predictions. Kickoff for Panthers vs. Buccaneers is at 4:30 p.m. ET from Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Fla. (ESPN/ABC).

📈 McMillan leads amid Egbuka's dropoff
Both rookies have been impressive as the top receiving option on their respective teams, but the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year odds show the market views one in a vastly different light than the other.
Egbuka (+3000) now significantly trails McMillan (-210), who leads the pack entering the final week of the regular season.
While their season totals look remarkably similar, (Egbuka: 62 catches, 930 yards, 6 TDs - McMillan: 66 catches, 929 yards, 7 TDs), it's McMillan's consistency over the course of the year that's getting more recognition in comparison to Egbuka's early-season highs.
Egbuka led the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year odds for the majority of the 2025 season, but his chances of winning the award have steadily declined over the second half of the campaign. He now has odds as long as +3000 at FanDuel, which translates to a 3.23% implied probability.
Egbuka hasn't scored a touchdown or gone over 100 yards receiving since Week 10. Meanwhile, McMillan has scored five touchdowns since then, including one against Egbuka's Bucs in late December.
It seems New Orleans Saints quarterback Tyler Shough, who didn't start until Week 9, has a better shot of catching McMillan than Egbuka does. Shough currently sits second on the oddsboard at +160.
But I wouldn't rule out a big performance from Egbuka in Week 18 putting him back in award contention for a playoff-bound Tampa Bay squad.
