🐬 Dolphins (+128) vs. Browns ⭐⭐⭐

I’m shocked that a team that hasn’t scored more than 17 in a game this season is favored, even if the Dolphins are 1-5. Miami has scored at least 21 points in five consecutive games, and just two of its five losses have come by more than one score.

The Browns are averaging the sixth-fewest yards per game (281.5 YPG) and fewest points per game (13.7 PPG). Rookie QB Dillon Gabriel hasn’t made mistakes since taking over as the starting quarterback, but he hasn’t done anything electric, either, as the offense is averaging just 285 yards with him starting under center.

One clear advantage the Browns have is that the Dolphins rank 32nd in rush defense, allowing 168.5 rushing yards per game. But for as good as Quinshon Judkins has been at times, the Browns are averaging just 3.9 yards per carry, which ranks seventh-worst in the league.

🦅 Eagles (-130) vs. Vikings ⭐⭐⭐⭐

The Eagles have lost back-to-back games and were just blown out by the Giants. The rushing attack, which is averaging just 95.3 yards per game, has been a massive disappointment, but this is the week that Saquon Barkley and Jalen Hurts will finally break out.

The Vikings are allowing 132.2 rushing yards per game, and they’re giving up 4.5 yards per carry. And while the Eagles’ defense has been gashed on the ground as well, giving up 134.3 rushing yards per game and 4.7 yards per carry, the Vikings have run for fewer than 100 yards in back-to-back games.

Finally, the Vikings turn the ball over way too much - they have nine giveaways this season. Neither team that has beaten the Eagles has turned the ball over. The Vikings have had at least one turnover in four of their five games.

🐂 Texans (+155) vs. Seahawks ⭐⭐⭐

The Texans are 2-3, but they’ve won back-to-back games, outscoring opponents 70-10 during that span. While I’m still not sold on the offense, the defense has been incredible, allowing a league-best 12.2 points per game.

Additionally, the Texans rank fifth in passing yards allowed per game, giving up just 175.2 per contest. And they’re not easy to run on, either, allowing just 90.6 rushing yards per game to rank seventh in the NFL.

The Seahawks are one of the best passing teams in the NFL, averaging 252.2 passing yards per game. But Houston has shut down Matthew Stafford, Baker Mayfield, and Trevor Lawrence this season, so I’m expecting Sam Darnold’s first truly bad start for Seattle. The Texans will struggle against the Seahawks' sixth-ranked scoring defense, but their own defense will do enough to spring this upset.
