Reigning NFL MVP winner Josh Allen scored six touchdowns in the Buffalo Bills' 44-32 victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, becoming the only quarterback to achieve that feat twice, but he remains behind betting favorites Matthew Stafford and Drake Maye in the latest NFL MVP odds race following Week 11.

Stafford did what was required against an Seattle Seahawks' elite defense to maintain his advantage. Maye, meanwhile, led his team to an eighth straight victory on Thursday, ensuring the New England Patriots remain the pacesetters in the AFC East entering Week 12.

🦬 Josh Allen reminds everyone why he's reigning MVP

No other quarterback has done what Allen has, with the MVP odds contender scoring six TDs for the second time. He also threw two picks, which prevented him from earmarking the all-time greatest regular-season performance.

Still, six TDs (three passing, three rushing) is a remarkable accomplishment. To put that into perspective, his opponent in Week 11, Baker Mayfield, has five TDs in the previous four games. Allen has one more score than Spencer Rattler had in his six games before losing his role as the starter in New Orleans.

You can see why Allen is among the MVP contenders, especially given that the award is narrative-based. He has slipped down the Clutch Factor QB power rankings recently after leading in the early goings, but a performance like that will surely see his stock rise this week.

He added 317 passing yards and 40 rushing yards to round out a terrific day. Allen remains the third-most likely to capture his second straight MVP, with his +500 odds at FanDuel representing a 16.67% implied probability.

🐏 Matthew Stafford remains MVP favorite

Stafford endured a tepid performance compared to his unrivaled standards, completing 15-for-28 for just 130 yards. He did, however, toss two TD passes, making it 15 in his previous four games.

His lack of production is unsurprising considering he was up against a Seahawks team with the third-best defensive DVOA entering Sunday.

Stafford led the Los Angeles Rams to a narrow 21-19 victory, taking sole possession of first place in the ultra-competitive NFC West. The 37-year-old is the MVP favorite entering Week 12, with his +170 odds at FanDuel carrying a 37.04% chance of securing the accolade for the first time.

🪖 Drake Maye keeps pressure on Stafford

Maye continues to shine in his second season under center. Not only has he led the Patriots to eight straight wins, but he's accomplished something no other quarterback has in any 11-start span - compiling 2500+ passing yards, 250+ rushing yards, 20+ TD passes, 70% completion percentage, and a win percentage of at least 80%.

It's an incredible collection of statistical gems, showcasing precisely why the 24-year-old has a 31.25% chance, according to his +220 MVP odds at FanDuel, of winning the league's most coveted regular-season honor.
