🐆 Jaguars (-115) vs. Texans ⭐⭐⭐

The Houston Texans boast one of the league's best defenses, even if they're just 3-5. They field the No. 1 scoring defense (15.1 points per game), No. 1 in total yards (267.4 per game), and they rank in the top six in both pass and rush defense. But the offense has been struggling while averaging just 21.0 points per game.

That unit will scuffle again this week with CJ Stroud out. Davis Mills completed just 17 of his 30 passes for 137 yards last week. While he should enjoy more success against the Jaguars’ 27th-ranked pass defense, I don’t see how the Texans fully take advantage of Jacksonville's main weakness without their star passer.

Get in on the Jaguars as soon as possible, as the public is sure to hammer them on Sunday morning with Stroud out.

🐶 Browns (-126) vs. Jets ⭐⭐⭐⭐

The Cleveland Browns are averaging just 15.8 points and 263.5 yards per game. But Dillon Gabriel, Quinshon Judkins, and the rest of the offense are bound to perform well against a New York Jets defense that just lost Sauce Gardner and Quinnen Williams. 

The Jets are allowing 135.8 rushing yards per game. I anticipate Judkins topping 80 yards for the fifth time this season, especially without Williams' presence.

The Browns are fantastic defensively while allowing just 276.9 yards and 23.0 points per game. The Jets have scored 22 or fewer points in five of their last seven outings, and a rush defense allowing just 3.6 yards per carry will neutralize Breece Hall.

🦅 Eagles (+110) vs. Packers ⭐⭐⭐

The Green Bay Packers are averaging the eighth-most yards per game, while the Philadelphia Eagles are allowing 336.4 yards and 23.1 points per contest. Yet I’m taking the Eagles, as I'm concerned about the Packers after their loss to the Panthers.

But it’s not just the defeat to Carolina. The Packers lost to the Browns earlier this season, tied the Dallas Cowboys, were tied with the Cardinals entering the fourth quarter in Week 7, and they were only three points ahead of the Bengals entering the final 15 minutes of Week 6.

The Packers' problem has been their red-zone offense. While they rank 11th leaguewide, they’re converting just 55.56% of their opportunities at home. The combination of the Eagles’ third-ranked red-zone defense and the top-ranked red-zone offense will be what ultimately leads them to victory.
