Commanders vs. Eagles Prop Predictions
Miles Sanders & Brian Robinson Jr. Over 100.5 rushing yards (-115)
The Philadelphia Eagles are second in the league in rushing attempts per game, handing the ball off 34.5 times per contest. Sanders leads that charge with 131 of those carries. He has gained 656 yards so far for an average of 82.0 yards per contest.
His lowest output this year was his 46-yard Week 3 outing against the Commanders but Sanders has five games with 75 or more yards. The Commanders are allowing 113.2 rushing yards per game this season.
Washington has ramped up its running game over the last three weeks. On the season, ball carriers are getting 26.6 carries per game. That number has jumped to 32 in the Commanders’ previous three outings. In that span, rookie Brian Robinson Jr. has accounted for 41 attempts and has gained 137 yards. He has played five games now with Washington and averages 43.8 yards per outing. Philadelphia is surrendering 121.4 yards per game this season.
Each team to score 1-plus rushing TDs & 1-plus passing TDs (+310)
It’s been well-documented that Philadelphia has a run-heavy offensive philosophy. Even still, the Eagles are averaging 1.5 passing touchdowns per game. QB Jalen Hurts completed at least one touchdown pass in all but three games this year. When these teams met in Week 3, Hurts threw for three scores. The Commanders are allowing 1.8 touchdowns a game through the air.
Washington started the season with Carson Wentz under center. In his six games as the signal caller, Wentz threw at least one touchdown pass in four outings. He was relieved by Taylor Heinicke in Week 7 against the Green Bay Packers, and Heinicke has gone on to complete at least one TD pass in all three of his starts. The Eagles' defense has surrendered 1.3 passing scores per game this season.
Any quarter to end scoreless: Yes (+280)
The Eagles have a total of 11 scoreless quarters on the season. They have failed to score a point in a quarter in five games this year. On defense, they have held their opponents without a point in 13 total quarters. Philadelphia combined with its opponents to go without a point on the board for an entire quarter on four occasions.
Washington has had 14 pointless efforts in a quarter this season. The Commanders registered at least one scoreless quarter in all but one of their nine matchups. Opponents failed to score in a quarter 11 times against the Commanders' defense. Washington and its opponent hung zeroes on the board four times this year in the same quarter.
The last time these teams met, both the first and third quarters ended without a score from either team.
