The Dolphins will be without kicker Jason Sanders for at least the first four games of the season, as he was placed on injured reserve. The team worked out four veterans Tuesday (Aug. 26), including Zane Gonzalez, Greg Joseph, Riley Patterson and Eddy Piniero.
Miami also cut veterans CB Mike Hilton and LB Quinton Bell.
Former Texas QB Quinn Ewers, who was drafted in the seventh round, has made the team and will serve as the team's third-string quarterback behind Tua Tagovailoa and Zach Wilson.
Running back Alexander Mattison is out for the season after suffering a neck injury in the preseason.
