✅ Best ATS pick: Ravens -4.5 ⭐⭐⭐
Here's what our NFL expert Gary Pearson wrote this week on why he's expecting an offensive explosion from the Ravens tonight:
"The Ravens scored the third-most points per game at home last season (31.1) and have averaged 34 per game at M&T Bank Stadium in the last eight regular-season home games. In seven of those games, they scored at least 30, with the lone exception a 19-point output against the reigning Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles.
To further reinforce their status as an offensive powerhouse, Baltimore has the second-best offensive DVOA and best EPA per play through two games. I won't harp on about the Lions' 52-point offensive explosion against the Chicago Bears, as it occurred at home against a defense much worse than the Ravens'."
Pearson further breaks down why he's backing Baltimore, as well as his favorite total bet and player prop for tonight, in his full Lions vs. Ravens prediction.
🔥 Best player prop pick: Jared Goff Over 23.5 completions ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Here's why our NFL expert Dustin Saracini is betting on Jared Goff to complete at least 24 passes tonight as his best player prop bet for Monday Night Football:
"Goff soared over this number against Green Bay in Week 1 before landing directly on it in Week 2 during a blowout win at home against the Chicago Bears. Regardless of the fact Detroit has two capable running backs in Jahmyr Gibbs and David Montgomery, Lions offensive coordinator John Morton still loves to use both of them in the passing game.
Against the Green Bay Packers (the one game the Lions have played that has been close), Gibbs caught 10 balls out of the backfield, while Montgomery caught four - so there's plenty of completions to go around, and the running game shouldn't stop Goff from hitting this number."
Saracini is also betting on Goff's favorite target and one of the Ravens' biggest offensive stars with the rest of his best Lions vs. Ravens player prop bets. He also broke down all of his best Lamar Jackson player prop picks.
💪 Best touchdown scorer prediction: Rashod Bateman to score anytime TD ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Here's why our NFL expert Esten McLaren is betting on Rashod Bateman to score a touchdown tonight as his best anytime touchdown scorer bet:
"Bateman has caught four of just eight targets through two games for a modest 23 yards. He ranks second to Zay Flowers in snap count among Ravens wide receivers.
While he's yet to be targeted in the red zone (only two Ravens receivers have been), I expect him to reprise a role that saw Bateman catch six of eight red-zone targets and score five touchdowns inside the opponents' 20-yard line last season."
McLaren is also backing two Lions pass-catchers to reach pay dirt tonight with his Lions vs. Ravens anytime touchdown scorer predictions.
😤 Best first touchdown scorer prediction: Mark Andrews to score first TD ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Here's why our NFL expert Isaiah Sirois is betting on Mark Andrews to score the first touchdown on Monday Night Football:
"The last few seasons haven’t been kind to Andrews’ legacy. From his awful start to last season to his dropped two-point conversion in the playoffs, it’d be easy to write him off as washed.
However, despite having failed to score this year, Andrews leads the Ravens with two red-zone targets. He also led the team in red-zone targets last year with 15. His main competition, Isaiah Likely, remains sidelined with an injury."
Sirois is backing another Ravens tight end as a long shot, along with a Lions speedster to score, as part of his first touchdown scorer predictions.
