Meanwhile, in the last two weeks, the Lions’ mediocre secondary failed to contain the Giants’ Wan’Dale Robinson (156 yards), as well as Green Bay’s Dontayvion Wicks (93 yards) and Christian Watson (80 yards).

Of course, Detroit running back Jahmyr Gibbs is a special talent — as evidenced by the fact he’s the NFL’s fourth-leading rusher. But Gibbs also has been hit-and-miss lately, falling short of 70 yards in five of his last eight outings.
