Jaguars vs. Broncos Player Props: Best Bets & TD Picks for NFL Week 16

Both starting quarterbacks and a No. 1 wide receiver comprise my favorite Jaguars vs. Broncos player props for a Week 16 showdown between first-place teams.

I’m targeting Denver quarterback Bo Nix with my best Jaguars vs. Broncos player props for Sunday’s battle between first-place teams at Empower Field at Mile High in Denver (4:05 p.m. ET, Fox).

Denver is a consensus 3.5-point betting favorite, and I’m betting on Nix to complete at least one pass to the wrong team and another pass to his top wide receiver in the end zone. Jacksonville quarterback Trevor Lawrence also is featured among my NFL Week 16 predictions.

Bo Nix Over 0.5 interceptions (+100) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Denver quarterback Bo Nix has played clean football the last two weeks (and three of the last four), and he has just nine interceptions on the season. However, the Jaguars have picked off at least one pass in eight of 12 games, and their 18 total interceptions rank second in the NFL behind only the Bears (21).

Trevor Lawrence, Over 4.5 rushing attempts (-115) ⭐⭐⭐

Trevor Lawrence doesn’t mind tucking the pigskin and leaving the pocket, as evidenced by his 66 rushing attempts this season — including at least five rushes in seven of his last 11 games. On Sunday, the Jaguars’ quarterback will go up against a Denver defense that has recorded 58 sacks (10 more than any other team).

In other words, I fully expect Lawrence to flee the pocket a lot Sunday — be it by design or out of desperation.

Courtland Sutton, score anytime touchdown (+170) ⭐⭐

Courtland Sutton caught a touchdown in three of his first four games. From there, the Broncos’ No. 1 wide receiver endured a seven-week drought in which he scored just once. In three games since returning from a Week 12 bye, though, Sutton has found the end zone twice while hauling in 18 of 26 targets.

In other words, Sutton has a hot hand, and I expect him to hit pay dirt against a Jaguars defense that has allowed 23 passing scores.
