My first touchdown scorer predictions for Thanksgiving focus on Amon-Ra St. Brown, Kareem Hunt, and Mark Andrews to score the opening touchdowns for the three games today as part of our NFL Thanksgiving predictions.
The action starts with Packers vs. Lions (1 p.m. ET, FOX) and continues with Chiefs vs. Cowboys (4:30 p.m. ET, CBS) and Bengals vs. Ravens (8:20 p.m. ET, NBC/Peacock). Here are my favorite first TD picks for all three matchups today.

🔥 Amon-Ra St. Brown, WR, Lions (+800) ⭐⭐⭐
When the Lions and Packers met in Week 1, the Lions didn’t score their first touchdown until 55 seconds left in the game. However, the Packers have allowed opponents to score the first touchdown in three of their last four games, while the Lions have scored the first touchdown in four of their last five.
St. Brown has nine touchdowns this season, scoring in six of his 11 games. Jahmyr Gibbs tends to be the first scorer for the Lions, but St. Brown has scored the first touchdown once this season, and the Packers have allowed 13 passing touchdowns compared to just eight rushing.
DraftKings’ price of +800 implies an 11.11% chance that St. Brown scores first. A $10 bet would profit $80.
🔥 Kareem Hunt, RB, Chiefs (+1000) ⭐⭐⭐
Both the Chiefs and Cowboys have struggled to score early in games, with the Cowboys allowing the first touchdown in three of their last four and the Chiefs allowing the first touchdown in three consecutive contests. But with the Chiefs allowing just 18.3 points per game, and the Cowboys allowing 28.5, I expect the Chiefs to score first on Thanksgiving.
Isiah Pacheco is expected back this week, but Hunt has been the far more consistent scorer. He has eight touchdowns compared to just two for Pacheco, and he’s scored in four consecutive games. The Cowboys have allowed 13 rushing touchdowns, seventh-most in the league.
FanDuel’s price of +1000 implies a 9.09% chance that Hunt scores first. A $10 bet would profit $100.

🔥 Mark Andrews, TE, Ravens (+750) ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Joe Burrow is returning for the Bengals, but with how bad their defense has been, I’m still backing the Ravens to score first in this game. The Bengals are allowing 32.7 points per game, and they’ve given up a league-worst 26 touchdown passes.
The Bengals have been the worst team against tight ends, giving up 13 touchdowns to the position, while no other team has allowed more than seven. Andrews has six touchdowns this season, including at least one in three of his last four games.
Caesars’ price of +750 implies an 11.76% chance that Andrews scores first. A $10 bet would profit $75.
