The marquee game of the weekend pits the 6-3 Dallas Cowboys against the 8-1 Minnesota Vikings. Which team will keep the pressure on the Philadelphia Eagles for the top spot in the NFC? Find out in our Cowboys-Vikings picks.

Playoff positioning in the NFC is on the line when the Cowboys meet the Vikings in Week 11.

The Cowboys enter the weekend 2.5 games back of the Eagles for the top spot in the conference and the NFC East. They can ill-afford another loss to drop further behind both the Eagles and the 7-2 New York Giants.

Meanwhile, the Vikings are riding a seven-game winning streak and coming off a thrilling overtime victory over the Buffalo Bills in Week 10. However, they're still looking for respect. The Vikes are listed as home underdogs against a team that's lost two of its last four games.

Here are our Cowboys-Vikings NFL picks for Week 11 (odds via FanDuel Sportsbook and PointsBet; Pick confidence is based on a 1-to-5-star scale).

Cowboys vs. Vikings Odds Analysis

The Cowboys were 2.5-point favorites early in the week, but the line has since dropped to -1.5. The line movement coincides with 64% of the cash and 56% of the tickets coming in on the Vikings.

The total opened at 48 points and has since come down a half point to 47.5. Nonetheless, the Over is attracting 86% of the cash and 84% of the tickets.

Cowboys vs. Vikings ATS Pick

Vikings +1.5 (-108)

I'm happy to take the points with the superior team at home, particularly after the Vikings cemented their case as a contender with a tough road win in the elements in Buffalo. The Cowboys coughed up a 14-point lead against what was a three-win Green Bay Packers team at Lambeau Field this past Sunday.

Our Sportsbook Review matchup page tells us the best spread number on the Vikings can be found at FanDuel, which is offering odds of -108.

While the Vikings are 4-4-1 against the spread in 2022, they're 1-0 as a home underdog, and 3-0-1 ATS across their last four games. Many are predicting this critical matchup will be a letdown spot for the Vikings, but America's Team doesn't profile as one to be overlooked.

The game won't be played in prime time, so we can back Kirk Cousins and the Vikings to cover the spread with confidence.

Cowboys vs. Vikings O/U Pick

Over 47.5 (-107)

Vikings games have gone 5-4 to the Over while Cowboys contests have gone 3-5-1 to the Over.

Minnesota ranks eighth overall in scoring, averaging 25.1 points per game, whereas Dallas sits 11th at 23.4 points.

Sunday's game will be played on the fast track of U.S. Bank Stadium. Vikings games are 4-1 to the Over in domed, climate-controlled settings in 2022. However, Cowboys games are 1-4 to the Over in domed stadiums this campaign.

Nonetheless, we expect this important NFC matchup to develop into a shootout, with the Over hitting easily.

Cowboys vs. Vikings Prop Pick

Parsons to record a sack (OFF)

Cowboys pass-rusher Micah Parsons is coming off arguably his quietest game of the season. Though he racked up seven tackles and a tackle for a loss, he was unable to make a difference against Aaron Rodgers and the Packers' passing attack during a Week 10 loss.

Parsons has now gone two straight games without a sack. He's yet to log three contests without a sack this season, so expect the favorite for Defensive Player of the Year to be anxious to get back on track.

Cousins has taken 20 sacks this campaign and at least one in every matchup. He was dropped for a sack four times in Week 10.

Vikings tackle Christian Darrisaw has missed practice time this week due to a concussion. Parsons is likely to get his ninth sack of the season on Sunday, with or without Darrisaw healthy.
