💰 Best Thursday Night Football SGP bets

Here are my favorite Commanders vs. Packers picks based on the best Thursday Night Football odds for the full parlay.

🚀 Packers -3.5 (-102) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The number isn’t great, as we’re on the wrong side of the key number of 3 with this spread against one of the most dynamic quarterbacks in the league. But I’m a believer in the Packers after the way they handled the Lions in Week 1.

The Commanders haven’t had a road test yet, or a test at all, given how easily they dispatched Russell Wilson and the Giants last week. After significantly exceeding their expectations against the spread against Detroit, I like the Packers’ strength on both sides of the ball to win out, mitigating concerns over the squirrelly line of -3.5.

🚀 Deebo Samuel Over 4.5 receptions (-118) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Deebo Samuel’s debut with the Commanders showed that Washington intends to incorporate getting the ball into his hands regularly. Samuel saw 10 targets and hauled in seven receptions, with several of his catches coming as manufactured touches near the line of scrimmage.

His solid efficiency with those touches (77 receiving yards) feeds into my expectation that Washington will deploy a similar strategy on Thursday with regard to Jayden Daniels’ new toy, especially if the Commanders are trailing as we’re anticipating with our spread bet.

🚀 Austin Ekeler Under 21.5 rushing yards (-107) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

The emergence of the man they call Bill - Jacory Croskey-Merritt - feels inevitable at this point, and it should limit Austin Ekeler's rushing role. JCM logged just 10 carries in the opener, but his explosiveness was evident in his efficiency.

Ekeler will still see the field on Thursday, but after garnering only six carries (26 yards) in a positive game script, I don’t envision his rushing workload increasing for a game in which I expect the Commanders to be trailing.

Ekeler’s rushing line is steadily dropping throughout the day, but we still like Under 21.5 yards as it’s currently listed at DraftKings.

❓NFL parlay betting FAQs

What is a parlay bet in the NFL?

A parlay combines multiple bets (spreads, totals, props, or moneylines) into one wager, with all selections needing to win for the bet to cash. Parlays are popular in the NFL betting because they offer bigger payouts.

How do NFL parlay odds work?

Parlay odds are calculated by multiplying the odds of each individual selection, which increases both the potential payout and the risk. The more legs you add, the higher the reward but the lower the probability of winning.

Are parlays a smart betting strategy for the NFL?

Parlays can be fun for chasing large payouts but are harder to win consistently. Many sharp bettors prefer single-game wagers, but NFL parlay bets can add excitement when used responsibly.
