Commanders vs. Chiefs Same Game Parlay for Monday Night Football: MNF Picks & SGP Odds

The Chiefs covering a double-digit number is the cornerstone of my Commanders vs. Chiefs SGP.

My Commanders vs. Chiefs same game parlay for Monday Night Football views Kansas City as a strong candidate to keep up its recent dominance. The Chiefs are 10.5-point betting favorites ahead of kickoff from GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Mo., at 8:15 p.m. ET (ABC/ESPN).

My NFL picks for this MNF parlay see the Chiefs as the right side at home against Washington backup QB Marcus Mariota. My NFL predictions for Week 8 also include a pair of running back player props as recent trends suggest a productive receiving night for Brashard Smith.

💰 Best Monday Night Football parlay picks

Here are my favorite Commanders vs. Chiefs picks based on the best Monday Night Football odds for the full parlay.

🚀  Chiefs -10.5 (-115) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

The Chiefs have covered the spread in four of their last five games and should have a strong chance to do it again on Monday night against a Commanders team that is 1-3 ATS in road games this season.

The Chiefs' last four wins have all come by 13+ points, including a 31-point victory in wideout Rashee Rice's return last week. Marcus Mariota should endure tough sledding against the league's third-ranked pass defense (174.6 yards per game allowed).

DraftKings offers the line at -10.5, compared to -11 or -11.5 at some of the other best sports betting sites. It's a line that our Gary Pearson backs in his Commanders vs. Chiefs prediction.

🚀  Jacory Croskey-Merritt Under 48.5 rushing yards (-111) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Although Washington running back Jacory Croskey-Merrit has seen 13 or more rushing attempts in three straight games, I'm fading his rushing output against a Kansas City run defense that has permitted just 77.3 rushing yards per game over its past three contests.

The Chiefs allowed just 25 rushing yards against the Las Vegas Raiders last week. Of the last four starting RBs to face the Chiefs, only the Detroit Lions' RB Jahmyr Gibbs cleared 50 rushing yards; Ashton Jeanty (Las Vegas Raiders), Travis Etienne (Jacksonville Jaguars), and Derrick Henry (Baltimore Ravens) did not.

Croskey-Merritt has averaged just 3.1 YPC over his last two games, this isn't the best matchup for him. Our Esten McLaren's anytime touchdown scorer predictions for Monday Night Football prefer a Commanders wideout instead.

🚀  Brashard Smith Over 17.5 receiving yards (-114) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The Chiefs have carved out a consistent role for Brashard Smith in the receiving game. The rookie RB has hauled in 3 or more receptions in four straight games.

Smith has been targeted on 23% of his snaps - a higher rate than elite receivers like Puka Nacua (Las Angeles Rams), Jaxon Smith-Njigba, (Seattle Seahawks), Ja'Marr Chase (Cincinnati Bengal) and virtually every skill player in the NFL (Rashee Rice is at 30% in his one game played).

The Commanders have allowed 41.57 receiving yards per game to opposing running backs (5th-most in NFL). Smith averages 8.7 yards per reception.

Also, our Liam Fox's Patrick Mahomes player prop bets and our Philip Wood's Commanders vs. Chiefs prop bets both expect Mahomes to be hurling the ball.
