Commanders vs. Chiefs Player Prop Bets: Monday Night Football Week 8

My best Commanders vs. Chiefs player props for tonight's Monday Night Football game at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Mo., focus on Marcus Mariota, Patrick Mahomes, and Travis Kelce. With Jayden Daniels out, the Chiefs are a 10.5-point betting favorite ahead of kickoff at 8:15 p.m. ET (ABC/ESPN).
A spread of that size has a large impact on my NFL picks and NFL predictions for Week 8.

⬇️ Marcus Mariota Under 200.5 passing yards (-113) ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Washington quarterback Marcus Mariota’s season-high is 207 passing yards against the Las Vegas Raiders, a team allowing 225.1 passing yards per game. Even with his team trailing for this whole game, Mariota won’t hit this Over, as the Chiefs rank third in pass defense, allowing just 174.6 yards per contest.
This prop ranges from 189.5 to 200.5 yards. At the time of writing, DraftKings is offering the highest total, and the price of -113 implies a 53.05% chance this Under hits. A $10 bet would profit $8.85.
⬆️ Patrick Mahomes Over 39.5 yard longest pass completion (-110) ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Kansas City QB Patrick Mahomes has only thrown three passes of at least 40 yards this season, but the Commanders have allowed a league-high eight passes of 40 or more yards this season. Additionally, the Commanders rank last in the league in yards allowed per reception, giving up 12.8 per catch.
FanDuel is offering Over 38.5 for -118, but the Commanders have been so bad at stopping long plays, I’ll take the extra yard for the better price. BetMGM’s price implies a 52.38% chance this bet hits. A $10 wager would profit $9.09.
Could this bomb ends up in the hands of wideout Rashee Rice? Gary Pearson's Commanders vs. Chiefs prediction is calling for a big night from the wide receiver.
⬇️ Travis Kelce Under 3.5 receptions (+106) ⭐⭐⭐
Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce is second on the team with 31 receptions, and he’s caught at least four passes in five of his seven games. However, for as bad as the Commanders have been against the pass this season, they’ve given up just 32 completions to tight ends through seven games.
With the Chiefs favored by double digits, I anticipate less passing from the offense in this game, which means fewer opportunities for Kelce. Even if the passing keeps up, it could go to a different tight end, like Esten McLaren targets in his anytime touchdown scorers for Monday Night Football.
The price of +106 at DraftKings is excellent, with a $10 wager profiting $10.60. The odds imply a 48.54% chance this Under hits.
