My best Cardinals vs. Texans player props focus on Trey McBride, Jacoby Brissett, and Dalton Schultz. The Texans are a 9.5-point betting favorite ahead of the action getting started at NRG Stadium in Houston at 1 p.m. ET today (FOX).

With Brissett at quarterback, the Cardinals have put up a lot of yards, but will that continue against the NFL’s top-ranked total defense? For more coverage of this game and the rest of this week’s slate, check out our NFL Week 15 predictions.

Trey McBride Under 69.5 receiving yards (-115) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

McBride is tied for the league lead with 93 receptions, and he ranks sixth with 937 receiving yards. He has seven games with at least 70 yards, including four of his last five. Yet, I’m taking his Under in this matchup.

The Texans have the third-ranked pass defense in football, allowing just 172.0 yards per game. They’ve given up just 495 yards to tight ends, which is the fourth-fewest in the NFL. McBride enters this game coming off a five-catch 58-yard performance against the Rams, who rank ninth against tight ends. The Rams are the only top-10 team against the position that he’s faced since Week 7.

FanDuel and Caesars have this total set at 63.5, so 69.5 at BetMGM provides great value. The price of -115 implies a 53.48% chance that the Under hits. A $10 bet would profit $8.70.

Jacoby Brissett Over 38.5 pass attempts (-105) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

The Texans will be the toughest pass defense that Brissett has faced all season. While I expect him to throw for fewer than 250 yards for the first time this season, I still anticipate him throwing a lot with his team likely trailing as 9.5-point underdogs.

Brissett has attempted at least 40 passes in five consecutive games. The Texans rank second in the league in opponent completion percentage, allowing opposing quarterbacks to convert just 57.1% of their attempts. Brissett is completing 66.2% of his passes this season, but he managed a mark of just 56.8% last week. In such a matchup, don’t be surprised if Brissett throws at least 44 passes for the sixth time this year.

BetMGM’s price of -105 implies a 51.22% chance that the Over hits. A $10 bet would profit $9.52.

Dalton Schultz to score a touchdown (+215) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

With a price of +215, this has the most winning potential of any of my Cardinals vs. Texans player props. Schultz leads the Texans with 62 receptions, and he’s second on the team with 84 targets and 574 yards. Yet, he’s only scored once this season.

That said, this is a great matchup for Schultz, as the Cardinals have allowed six touchdowns to tight ends, which is tied for the ninth-most in the league. They also rank in the bottom 12 in both receptions and receiving yards allowed to tight ends, so Schultz should have no problem getting opportunities all over the field.

Caesars’ price of +215 gives Schultz a 31.75% chance of scoring. A $10 bet would profit $21.50, which is much more valuable than the $19 you’d get for the same bet at bet365.
