Despite having a good preseason, running back Frank Gore Jr. was waived from the team. He was an undrafted free agent out of Southern Mississippi and is a likely candidate for the Bills' practice squad if he doesn't get signed by another team.
Mitch Trubisky won the backup QB job behind Josh Allen, beating out Shane Buechele, who was waived.
Cornerback Maxwell Hairston, the Bills' first-round pick this year, will begin the regular season on injured reserve and will miss at least the first four games of the season. Offensive tackle Tylan Grable also will open on IR.

The Bills welcome the Baltimore Ravens to Highmark Stadium on Sunday, Sept. 7. Kickoff is set for 8:20 p.m. ET. Buffalo opened as a 1.5-point favorite, and the NFL odds dropped to -0.5 as of Aug. 26.

Buffalo ended Baltimore's season last year in the divisional round, with Ravens tight end Mark Andrews dropping the potential game-tying two-point conversion late.
