Bills vs. Jaguars Predictions for Wild Card Round | Opening Odds & NFL Playoffs Best Bet

Sunday's Wild Card Round action begins with what could be one of the most explosive and competitive games of the weekend, with the Buffalo Bills visiting the Jacksonville Jaguars. My Bills vs. Jaguars predictions use the opening odds to break down whether Josh Allen can secure his first career road postseason victory, handing the Jags their first loss since early November in the process.
The Bills have a slight edge, trading as a 1.5-point betting favorite at most of the best sportsbooks, but my NFL playoff predictions are more focused on the total. Kickoff from EverBank Stadium in Jacksonville, Fla., is set for Sunday at 1 p.m. ET (CBS).

Over 51.5 (-112) ⭐⭐⭐⭐
This is the highest total of the weekend - but I still don't think it's high enough.
The Jaguars' offense has been red-hot over their current eight-game winning streak, averaging 33.6 points during that stretch.
And I fully believe in the Trevor Lawrence breakout. The former No. 1 pick has looked accurate, decisive, and explosive while also masterfully utilizing his rushing ability.
Meanwhile, the Bills finished with the fourth-ranked scoring offense and have averaged nearly 30 points per game over their last three playoff runs (it's largely been Buffalo's defense that's let it down in the postseason).

📊 Live Bills vs. Jaguars odds: Wild Card Round
Our NFL wild-card betting odds provide the updated odds from the best sports betting sites for Bills vs. Jaguars.
Bills vs. Jaguars opening odds
- Moneyline: Bills -118 | Jaguars -102
- Spread: Bills -1.5 (-102) | Jaguars +1.5 (-118)
- Over/Under: Over 51.5 (-112) | Under 51.5 (-108)
Bills vs. Jaguars line movement
I expect the spread to move slightly in Buffalo's direction to at least Bills -2.5, given their edge in playoff experience over the Jaguars. As of Tuesday, we haven't seen much movement, with Bills -1.5 holding firm.
I anticipate the total remaining firm at 51.5 points, which has been the case through early action.
Both offenses have proven they can score at will when not facing high-level defenses, which neither team has. The weather shouldn't get in the way either, as it will in other matchups this weekend, with this game being played in warm and sunny Florida.
