My Bears vs. Packers prediction focuses on a team that’s won nine of its last 10 games, covered the spread in eight of those contests, and is catching nearly a touchdown Sunday.

Green Bay is a consensus 6.5-point betting favorite in this battle for NFC North supremacy at Lambeau Field (4:25 p.m. ET, FOX). In addition to my point-spread recommendation, I’m offering up a rushing prop among my NFL Week 14 predictions.

Bears +6.5 (-105) ⭐⭐⭐

The Bears are on an NFL-best 9-1 roll. But that’s not why I’m grabbing the points here. After all, Chicago - which only has a plus-6 point differential - could easily be 4-8 instead of 9-3, as six of its wins were by a total of 16 points.

That’s the thing, though: Despite playing with fire, the Bears haven’t gotten burned. And last week’s 24-15 upset at Philadelphia was their most convincing and impressive victory to date.

Granted, the Eagles have been teetering lately. But even in their uneven state, the defending champs went to Green Bay in Week 10 and prevailed 10-7.

Bears roar as an underdog

The Packers have since won three in a row, including a 31-24 Thanksgiving victory over the Lions. However, the Packers were underdogs in Detroit. That’s noteworthy because they’re 2-6 ATS as a favorite since Week 3, including 1-3 ATS at Lambeau Field.

Conversely, the Bears are on an 8-2 ATS upswing, going 5-1 SU and ATS as an underdog.

So in what figures to be yet another nail-biter involving the Bears, back the underdog at BetMGM. The -105 odds imply a 51.22% win probability. Bet $10 to win $9.52.

Score prediction: Packers 22, Bears 20

D’Andre Swift vs. Packers' defense

It’s going to be bitterly cold at Lambeau Field on Sunday, so I expect Bears coach Ben Johnson to lean heavily on what has been a vastly improved offensive line. It’s a line that paved the way for 281 rushing yards at Philadelphia in Week 13.

Veteran running back D’Andre Swift accounted for 125 of those yards on just 18 carries, his third 100-yard rushing game since Week 6. Over that eight-game stretch, Swift suited up seven times and rushed for at least 80 yards in five contests.

Admittedly, the Packers’ run defense is stout, much better than Philly’s. That being said, each of Green Bay’s last seven opponents has netted at least 94 rushing yards, with six running backs eclipsing 55 yards.

Best prop bet: D’Andre Swift Over 46.5 rushing yards (-110 via DraftKings)

Bears vs. Packers weather

Early morning snow flurries are expected to give way to mostly clear skies Sunday afternoon at Lambeau Field. However, the mercury will be well below freezing, with temperatures below 20 degrees at kickoff. Steady 10-12 mph breezes will drop the wind chill to single digits for the duration of the game.
