Chase Brown, RB, Bengals (+360) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐️
Brown enters Week 17 off his biggest performance of the season. He scored a total of three touchdowns in Week 16 over the Dolphins, two via the passing attack, and one on the ground rushing. One of the main reasons I am backing Chase Brown is that he is a dual-threat running back. He can create explosive plays out of the backfield in both the rushing and passing attacks.
Brown and his Bengals are hosting the Cardinals this week, and I do anticipate that matchup to be beneficial for Brown. Similarly to the game he had last week against the Dolphins, this Cardinals defense will not be able to contain him as they are ranked in almost every statistical category bottom-10 on defense. With this Bengals offense heating up, I expect Brown to have a huge day.
James Cook, RB, Bills (+650) ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Cook enters Week 17 with a favorable matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles. The Eagles have struggled against top-tier running backs this season, and the Bills have scored the most rushing touchdowns in the NFL with 27.
Cook has scored five touchdowns over his last two games, including two or more in each game. One of the main reasons he is getting as many red zone looks as he has, is because Josh Allen has been playing with an injured ankle. When this team gets anywhere near the goal line, they have been featuring Cook heavily. That will continue against an Eagles team that is stout against the pass, but bottom-15 against the run.
