The final spots of the NCAA tournament will be decided during Wednesday's First Four doubleheader, featuring Prairie View vs. Lehigh and Miami (OH) vs. SMU.
For the second night of March Madness, I've found some betting angles worth exploring with my First Four player props. In particular, I'm betting against SMU guard BJ Edwards in his return from injury as part of tonight's March Madness predictions.

💰 Best First Four player prop today

BJ Edwards Under 5.5 rebounds (-140)
Most of sportsbooks are reluctant to hang props for SMU guard BJ Edwards, who could return from an ankle injury on Wednesday. Edwards, who has been out since Feb. 27, is an important player for SMU's success.
bet365 is bold enough to set lines for Edwards' potential return at 10.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 3.5 assists.
I prefer to fade Edwards' rebounding, whichd is closer to his season-long average of 5.9 boards per game. I could see the injury limiting him from crashing the glass, especially against a RedHawks team that ranks 71st in defensive rebound rate.

Peter Suder Over 12.5 points (-114)
If Edwards isn't 100%, that could have an impact on the other end of things as well. It could open up the door for a big night from Miami (OH) guard Peter Suder.
Suder leads the team with an average of 14.6 points per game, knocking down shots at a high clip. His effective field goal percentage (59.8%) ranks 119th in the nation, while his true shooting (62.2%) is 128th.
More importantly, Suder plays a ton. He's logged 30-plus minutes in 12 of his last 14 games, clearing this scoring line 11 times over that span.
Dontae Horne Under 24.5 points (-115)
Prairie View A&M guard Dontae Horne is averaging 20.2 points per game this season, but he might find it difficult to clear this number against Lehigh.
Horne gets a lot of production from a free-throw rate of 46.7%. But the Mountain Hawks have done a good job of keeping opponents off the charity stripe, ranking 123rd in the country in defensive free-throw rate (32.8%).
This scoring line is listed at 23.5 the other best sports betting sites, so I'll take advantage of bet365's bargain.
🚀 Best First Four parlay picks today
I've put together a First Four parlay of all three player props, which can only be placed at bet365, as it's the only shop with props for Edwards. I'd recommend keeping an eye on any new reports, especially during pregame warm-ups, to gauge whether Edwards will have a minutes restriction. Either way, I like the value of that prop and this parlay.
💵 Best First Four parlay today
- Peter Suder Over 12.5 points
- BJ Edwards Under 5.5 rebounds
- Dontae Horne Under 24.5 points
Best odds: +460 via bet365 (0.1u -> 0.46u)
