There should be plenty of fireworks in the SEC tonight as No. 17 Ole Miss hosts No. 7 LSU in a battle of two explosive offenses.

LSU is an 11.5-point betting favorite on the road for tonight's 9 p.m. ET tip (ESPN) from SJB Pavilion in Oxford, Miss., and my LSU vs. Ole Miss prediction projects these offenses to live up to the hype.

And don't miss our NC State vs. Duke prediction for the first matchup of ESPN's doubleheader.

💰 LSU vs. Ole Miss prediction & best bet

Over 147.5 (-110)

This is the ideal matchup if you love points. On one side, LSU has the nation's No. 1 offense in PPG (95.7) ... and on the other, Ole Miss deploys one of the SEC's dominant forces, Cotie McMahon (20.5 PPG).

McMahon is coming off a 39-point performance in a win over No. 21 Tennessee, her sixth game with over 20 points in her last seven outings. And she'll need to bring her best to keep up with LSU.

The Tigers have scored over 90 points in 17 of 26 games this season, and have scored fewer than 80 just six times.

Score prediction: LSU 80, Ole Miss 72

💡 How I'm betting LSU vs. Ole Miss

Follow all of our college basketball analysis and expert predictions this season.

Given LSU's scoring depth with eight players scoring at least 8.9 PPG, led by All-American Flau'Jae Johnson (14.1), the Tigers have been a strong Over bet this season. Mix in the fact that McMahon has emerged as one of the best scorers in the nation, and the Over is one of my favorite bets of the day, which is why I'm putting a full unit on it (and I would at any number below 150.5).

While the Over is my best bet, Ole Miss has proven to be a tough out this season and has yet to lose a game at home. That's why I'm taking the Rebels to cover and would take them at +9.5 or better.

📊 Live LSU vs. Ole Miss odds

LSU opened as an 11.5-point betting favorite on the road, and I don't imagine this line will see much movement. The Tigers are one of the best teams in the country, and though they've lost two of their last four, those losses came to South Carolina and Texas, two women's March Madness odds favorites.
