The biggest name in college hoops takes center stage on Saturday when the No. 1-seed Iowa Hawkeyes take on the fifth-seed Colorado Buffaloes in the women's NCAA Tournament, and we're offering our top Caitlin Clark player props and Colorado vs. Iowa prediction based on the best Women's March Madness odds.

Caitlin Clark will try to add to what's already an incredible college basketball resume when her Iowa Hawkeyes (31-4) battle the Colorado Buffaloes (24-9) in their NCAA Tournament Sweet 16 matchup on Saturday.

Iowa is trading as a -7.5 favorite at our best sports betting sites, and Clark and the Hawkeyes will look to defend their favorite status when the game tips off at 3:30 p.m. ET at MVP Arena in Albany, N.Y.

Clark led the way in Iowa's win against West Virginia, scoring 32 points. She drained five 3-pointers in what was the most-watched non-Final Four game in women's March Madness history.

How will she follow up that performance against a Colorado defense that she can very likely cook from beyond the arc?

As part of our March Madness predictions, here is our best Colorado vs. Iowa prediction (odds via our best March Madness betting sites; pick confidence based on a 1-to-5-star scale).

Colorado vs. Iowa prediction

Caitlin Clark Over 32.5 points ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Best odds: -112 via FanDuel

This may seem like low-hanging fruit, but when you're talking about a prolific scorer like Clark, it's always worth a look at her points prop. And in this case, there's real value on the Over.

Clark has already rewritten the record books in so many ways this season, and she's fresh off setting the single-season scoring record for women's basketball in the Round of 32. Even in one of Iowa's worst offensive games of the season, Clark still scored 32 points on a whopping 22 attempts, with five made triples and 12 trips to the charity stripe.

Now she faces a Colorado defense that ranks 121st in efficiency heading into Saturday's Sweet 16 showdown. While the Buffaloes are allowing an assist on fewer than 50% of opponents' baskets - another reason to expect a volume-heavy day for Clark - they rank among the worst teams nationally in opposing 3-point percentage (33.9%) and true-shooting percentage (50.1%).

This is a high bar to clear, but in what should be a high-scoring affair, expect Clark to take advantage of a favorable matchup and light up the stat sheet once again.
