After a thrilling start to the Sweet 16, our experts' best March Madness player props today cover all four Friday games with 12 total prop picks across the slate. Our college basketball experts have broken down their three best player prop picks for each game, as we break down their best bets below as part of our March Madness predictions for every 2026 NCAA Tournament matchup.

🏀 Best St. John’s vs. Duke player prop picks (7:10 PM ET, CBS)

Player Prop pick Confidence
Dylan Darling, G, St. John’s Under 6.5 points (−120) ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Bryce Hopkins, F, St. John’s Under 6.5 rebounds (−127) ⭐⭐⭐
Cameron Boozer, F, Duke To not record a double-double (+140) ⭐⭐⭐

Here’s why our college basketball expert Mike Spector is fading Dylan Darling as a scorer tonight in a matchup against Duke’s suffocating defense:

“Dylan Darling’s only two points in the team’s last game were on his buzzer-beating shot against Kansas. Otherwise, Darling’s shooting woes epitomize the knock on the Red Storm offense, as he is just 1-for-21 from 3-point range over the last five games. Darling will likely have to make his hay from the perimeter against the Duke defense, as the Blue Devils rank in the second percentile in rim rate allowed. The Blue Devils’ interior defense became even more formidable with the return of Patrick Ngongba, who played 13 minutes against TCU after missing five games.”

Spector’s St. John’s vs. Duke player props also target a Bryce Hopkins rebounding fade and a plus-money play against Cameron Boozer recording a double-double.

🏆️ Who wins St. John’s vs. Duke?

Brenden Schaeffer expects Duke’s No. 1-ranked defense to control the tempo in his St. John’s vs. Duke prediction, where he backs three correlated Unders.

🏀 Best Alabama vs. Michigan player prop picks (7:35 PM ET, TBS)

Player Prop pick Confidence
Elliot Cadeau, G, Michigan Over 2.5 rebounds (−105) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Morez Johnson Jr., F, Michigan Over 7.5 rebounds (−110) ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Latrell Wrightsell, G, Alabama Over 2.5 made 3-pointers (−114) ⭐⭐⭐

Here’s why our college basketball expert Phil Wood is making Elliot Cadeau’s rebounding prop a five-star, three-unit play against Alabama:

“Alabama allows the eighth-most rebounds (39.7) in the country, and because more than 50% of their shots are from beyond the 3-point line, they give up many long rebounds. The biggest beneficiary of these types of boards will be Cadeau, who is only averaging 2.6 rebounds per game, but grabbed four rebounds against No. 9 Saint Louis. He also has at least three rebounds in 15 games this season. It’s hard for a five-star play to get even more enticing, but since writing my Alabama vs. Michigan prediction, bet365’s price has dropped from −130 to −105.”

Wood is also backing Morez Johnson Jr.’s rebounding Over and Latrell Wrightsell’s 3-point props with his Alabama vs. Michigan player props in a game where Alabama’s rebounding woes are the central theme.

🏆️ Who wins Alabama vs. Michigan?

Wood is backing the Wolverines in his Alabama vs. Michigan prediction, projecting a double-digit win for the top seed fueled by elite defense.

🏀 Best Michigan State vs. UConn player prop picks (9:45 PM ET, CBS)

Player Prop pick Confidence
Tarris Reed, C, UConn Under 14.5 points (−125) ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Coen Carr, F, Michigan State Under 0.5 3-pointers made (−115) ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Alex Karaban, F, UConn Over 1.5 assists (−145) ⭐⭐⭐

Here’s why Spector is fading Tarris Reed against Michigan State’s elite post defense:

“Tarris Reed has been feast or famine of late, scoring 17 or more points in three of the last five games, while being held to 10 or fewer in the other two. The Huskies run great off the ball action in an effort to clear out space for Reed to work one-on-one, but the issue is that Michigan State has one of the country’s elite individual post defenders to guard Reed. Spartans center Carson Cooper allows just 0.68 points per possession in man-to-man post matchups. And Michigan State overall ranks in the top-50 per KenPom in 2-point percentage defense.”

Spector is also selling high on Coen Carr’s recent 3-point shooting in his Michigan State vs. UConn player props while targeting an Alex Karaban assists play against Michigan State’s porous off-ball defense.

🏆️ Who wins Michigan State vs. UConn?

Schaeffer is calling for the outright upset in his Michigan State vs. UConn prediction, projecting a narrow win by the Spartans in a coin-flip affair.

🏀 Best Tennessee vs. Iowa State player prop picks (10:10 PM ET, TBS)

Player Prop pick Confidence
Milan Momcilovic, F, Iowa State Over 3.5 made 3-pointers (+100) ⭐⭐⭐
Ja’Kobi Gillespie, G, Tennessee Under 19.5 points (−120) ⭐⭐⭐
Nate Ament, F, Tennessee Under 5.5 rebounds (−114) ⭐⭐⭐

Here’s why Wood is backing Milan Momcilovic to hit at least four 3-pointers at even money against Tennessee:

“If you checked out my Tennessee vs. Iowa State prediction, then you know I love Momcilovic in this matchup. The sharpshooter averages 3.7 made 3-pointers per game, and he’s shooting 49.3% from deep this season. Momcilovic has made at least four 3-pointers in 17 of his 36 games this season, so getting this at +100 at FanDuel provides excellent value, especially since the status of Jefferson, Iowa State’s second-leading scorer, is still unknown.”

Wood is also fading Ja’Kobi Gillespie’s scoring line against Iowa State’s fifth-ranked defense with his Tennessee vs. Iowa State player props while targeting a Nate Ament rebounding Under after a rough first two rounds.

🏆️ Who wins Tennessee vs. Iowa State?

Wood backs the Under as a two-unit play in his Tennessee vs. Iowa State prediction with possessions at a premium between these grinding offenses.
