💰 Best Warriors vs. Timberwolves prop bet: Stephen Curry stays hot, drops 30+ points (-108) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Check out all of our NBA analysis and expert predictions this season.

The Timberwolves have had no defensive answer for Curry, who has scored 30 or more points in four consecutive regular-season meetings against Minnesota.

Earlier this season, Curry scored 39 points on 14-of-28 shooting from the field, including 6-of-15 from beyond the arc, in a seven-point loss to Minnesota. Today's matchup mirrors that situation, as the Warriors enter as a 6-point underdog. I expect Curry to dominate the Timberwolves again, especially after his 38-point performance in a road loss to the Dallas Mavericks on Thursday.

Anthony Edwards bounces back with 30+ points (-113) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Edwards scored just 20 points in a loss to the Chicago Bulls on Thursday. The last time he scored 20 or fewer points (Dec. 4), he bounced back two days later with a 40-point performance in a home win over the Los Angeles Clippers.

Since Edwards has shown he’s capable of dramatic bounce-back games, I wouldn’t be against including him in a ladder bet

Edwards 35+ points +230 via BetMGM
Edwards 40+ points +550 via bet365
Edwards 45+ points +1200 via FanDuel
Edwards 50+ points +2500 via FanDuel

He has scored 38 or more points in two of his last three games, including a 55-point performance against the San Antonio Spurs on Saturday.

Brandin Podziemski struggles again vs. Wolves, scores under 14 points (-115) ⭐⭐⭐

To say Brandin Podziemski has struggled against the Timberwolves would be an understatement. He has scored 12 points or fewer in nine of his last 10 games against Minnesota, dating back to 2024.

This trend has been cashing bets pretty easily of late, as Podziemski scored just two points in their first meeting this season on Dec. 12. The Warriors will be without Jimmy Butler and Jonathan Kuminga, but 14.5 points is too high for Podziemski given the matchup.

Shane Thurston is betting Chicago Bulls center Nikola Vucevic to score 16 or fewer points with his NBA player props tonight.

🧐 How I'm handicapping Warriors vs. Timberwolves

The two main factors that influenced my handicap for this game were the head-to-head history between these teams and Edwards coming off an uncharacteristically low 20-point performance.

The Timberwolves entered this season ranking in the top six in defensive efficiency over each of the previous two seasons, so Warriors players’ past performances against Minnesota provide a solid starting point for their projections today.

Additionally, Edwards is the type of aggressive player you want to back after a slow night, and his past performances against Golden State shouldn’t weigh too heavily, given the Warriors’ injury report and year-over-year roster turnover.
