💰 Best player prop bets for Warriors vs. Lakers
Our NBA player prop odds tool shows the best odds for every market across legal sportsbooks in your area.
⬇️ Stephen Curry Under 25.5 points (-111) ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Curry got off to a slow start at the beginning of last season, scoring 24 or fewer points in each of his first four games. The 37-year-old point guard will probably need some time to ramp up again, as he enters his 17th NBA season.
Curry scored 37 or more points in three of four meetings with the Lakers last season, yet the market - which has had a lot of time to react to this line - seems to be settling at just 25.5 points. This is a tough spot for Curry, entering the season one year older, and Lakers head coach JJ Redick has had all offseason to brainstorm ways to slow down the 11-time All-Star.
Caesars has the best odds at time of publish for Curry to go Under 25.5 points. These -111 odds carry an implied probability of 52.61%, with a winning $10 bet profiting $9.01.
⬇️ Luka Doncic Under 31.5 points (-121) ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Doncic was also a slow starter last season, scoring 29 or fewer points in four of his first five games. He shot just 38.7% from the field in that span and 29.2% from the 3-point line.
Doncic scored 31 or fewer points in two of the three times he faced the Warriors last season. In the only Warriors-Lakers matchup he played - after Golden State acquired elite wing defender Jimmy Butler - Doncic scored just 19 points, going 6-of-17 from the field (35.3%), including 0-for-6 on 3-pointers.
The -121 odds for Doncic to go Under 31.5 points at DraftKings are the best odds at time of publish. These odds have an implied probability of 54.75%, and a winning $10 wager would profit $8.26.
⬇️ Jimmy Butler Under 23.5 points+rebounds (-105) ⭐⭐⭐
Butler averaged just 14 points and 6.5 rebounds in two games against the Lakers last season, or 20.5 points plus rebounds. Those numbers also include a game he played as a member of the Miami Heat, though, when he scored 17 points and grabbed nine boards.
His role on the Warriors is much different, as he’s clearly not the No. 1 option on offense. He also didn’t have to compete for rebounds with Doncic in that Lakers-Heat meeting (L.A. hadn’t traded for him yet). In the Warriors-Lakers matchup that Butler played, he finished with just 11 points and four rebounds.
BetMGM’s -105 odds for Butler to go Under 23.5 points plus rebounds are the best available at time of publish. These -105 odds carry an implied probability of 51.22%, and a winning $10 bet would profit $9.52.
