💰 Best Thunder vs. Grizzlies player props
⬇️ Shai Gilgeous-Alexander player prop: Under 43.5 points + rebounds + assists (-122) ⭐⭐⭐
SGA is naturally very capable of cashing this prop, but the expectation here is a lopsided victory for OKC. That naturally could mean somewhat limited playing time for the reigning MVP, who’s logged 30 minutes or fewer in all five of the Thunder’s double-digit victories this season.
Consequently, there's a good chance of a more muted performance than usual for Gilgeous-Alexander, who’s been Under 43.5 on this prop in four of those five comfortable wins.
Oddsmakers don’t seem to disagree in this case either, pointing us toward the Under.
At -122 odds on Caesars, the bet has a 55% probability of cashing. A $10 bet would net $8.20 in profit.
⬆️ Isaiah Hartenstein player prop: To record a double-double (+145) ⭐⭐⭐
In contrast, Hartenstein’s potential production is arguably less subject to attrition with truncated playing time than Gilgeous-Alexander’s, considering the big man’s body of work and the fact that the Thunder’s suffocating defense typically generates plenty of production on the defensive glass.
Hartenstein has recorded double-doubles in five of 10 games thus far, and he's coming off a career-high 33 points against the Kings on Friday.
Memphis also ranks in the bottom 10 in the league in points in the paint allowed per game, which dovetails well with the fact that 82.2% of Hartenstein’s scoring has come in that part of the floor.
FanDuel has +145 odds (40.8%), with a winning $10 bet cashing $14.50 in profit.
⬆️ Ja Morant player prop: Over 7.5 assists (+110) ⭐⭐⭐
As I just alluded to, the Thunder present an unenviable defensive matchup, which naturally makes scoring and assists more of an uphill battle than against virtually any other team.
Nevertheless, we’re talking about an elite talent when Morant’s head is on straight, and he’s averaging 7.9 dimes per contest coming into Sunday night’s clash.
Morant has recorded at least eight assists in five of nine games, including three straight, while coming just one short of that mark on two other occasions. While a comfortable OKC victory may well be the final result here, Morant should have his fair share of opportunities to facilitate.
At +110 odds on BetMGM, the bet has a 47.6% probability of cashing, with a $10 bet netting $11 in profit.
