Mike Budenholzer implemented a fantastic 5-out offense in Milwaukee that generated 3-point attempts at a high rate, with Giannis Antetokounmpo racking up assists as the primary scorer and distributor.

We can expect Kevin Durant to experience a rise in assist numbers in that system after Phoenix used a very isolation-heavy offense last year.

Durant is listed at -105 to top 25.5 points through DraftKings, indicating the value in adding two assists to that line for a higher implied success rate.

James Harden was given a 26% usage rate over 11 games when Leonard sat out last season, compared to a 20% usage rate when the latter was active.

Meanwhile, Harden averaged 21 points and 10 assists per game in six contests without George. Now he enters this season as the clear focal point of the Clippers' offense, with Leonard (knee) out indefinitely.

The Suns' rim protection is limited, with few defensive stoppers on the wing. Harden averaged 20.5 points and 10.5 assists in two matchups against Phoenix last season while attempting just 10.5 field goals per game with Leonard and George active. His usage should go way up in the opener.

Norman Powell is also expected to step up for the Clippers with the aforementioned superstar wings traded or injured.
