He's now had two days off since the uncharacteristic clunker, which certainly could help him to a strong bounce-back effort. The Lakers have been significantly tough against centers, but needless to say, Wemby’s skill set is in a category of its own, and he had one 30-point game last season (over 30 minutes) head to head against Deandre Ayton when the latter was still in Portland.

Doncic is off the injury report after a rest day Monday, which should give him a bit of extra spring in his step as he looks to build on the 41.3 points (on a career-high 54.5 percent shooting), 11.5 rebounds, and 8.3 assists per contest he's averaging over his first four games. The elite guard is naturally enjoying even more usage than usual with LeBron James (back) still to make his season debut, and he could see yet another bump Wednesday if Austin Reaves sits due to his groin injury.

Additionally, Doncic has produced between 62 and 68 points + rebounds + assists in three of his first four games, and he fell just short with 50 against the Heat on Sunday.

⬆️ Deandre Ayton player prop: Over 21.5 points + rebounds (-130) ⭐⭐⭐

Ayton has proven a good fit thus far in his nascent Lakers tenure, averaging 16.9 points and 8.1 rebounds per contest. He's also exceeded this prop in five of the six games in which he's logged at least 31 minutes. The matchup down low against Wemby is naturally no cakewalk, but this is a modest figure that accounts for the uphill battle and is certainly reachable for Ayton if he sees his usual workload.
