My Spurs vs. Knicks prediction for Tuesday's NBA Cup final takes advantage of a mispriced point spread.
The Knicks are a 2.5-point betting favorite over the Spurs, with tipoff from T-Mobile Arena in Paradise, Nev., slated for 8:30 p.m. ET (Prime Video).

Spurs +2.5 (-110) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
My power ratings project the Knicks as a 1-point favorite on a neutral court.
While I’m open to downgrading the Spurs by a half-point since Victor Wembanyama may be on a minutes restriction, they haven’t played since Saturday, and Wembanyama posted a respectable stat line in that outing: 22 points, nine rebounds, and two blocks in just 21 minutes. The Spurs were undervalued in the semifinals, and they’re being undervalued once again in the final.
Spurs +2.5 (-110) at FanDuel is the best line available. These -110 odds carry an implied probability of 52.38%. A winning $10 ticket profits $9.09.
Score prediction: Spurs 114, Knicks 113

De'Aaron Fox Over 19.5 points (-120) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
De’Aaron Fox has scored 20 or more points in back-to-back games. Over a larger sample, the Spurs guard has cashed this prop in 14 of his 17 games this season.
This line is lower than usual since Wembanyama and Stephon Castle will both play Tuesday; however, bet365's line of 19.5 points (Over: -120) appears to be an overreaction. Most of the best sports betting sites are lining Fox at 20.5 points with extra juice on the Over.
These -120 odds carry an implied probability of 54.55%, with a $10 winning bet profiting $8.33.

De'Aaron Fox (+500) ⭐⭐⭐
Fox is being undervalued to win NBA Cup MVP, as the market implies there’s over a 55% chance the Knicks will win on Tuesday
Not only should the Spurs receive more respect from the market, but all Spurs players (excluding Wembanyama, who is overvalued for this award) should be listed at shorter odds to win NBA Cup MVP. Fox represents the biggest discrepancy, as he has a strong chance of leading the Spurs in scoring on Tuesday.
His +500 odds at Caesars carry an implied probability of 16.67% - far too low - with a $10 winning ticket profiting $50.
