Top NBA Prop Picks for Tuesday

There are six games in the NBA on Tuesday, which means plenty of opportunities to bet on or fade certain players. We make our top NBA prop picks for Tuesday’s action.

We have a strong six-game slate headlined by the hottest teams in each conference. The Golden State Warriors roll into Memphis to face the rolling Grizzlies, while the Phoenix Suns travel to the great white north for a showdown with the surging Toronto Raptors.

For Tuesday's NBA props, I’m keeping with the theme of riding a hot streak and turning to three players who have been on heaters as of late. I have two plus-money wagers that I’m confident will cash.

Here are my top prop picks for Tuesday’s NBA schedule (odds via FanDuel Sportsbook; pick confidence based on a 1-to-5-star scale).

Kuzma to record 12-plus rebounds (+190)

Kuzma has been on a tear recently, and he’s fresh off a career-high 22-rebound performance in Sunday’s win over the Orlando Magic. I’m certainly not chasing those 22 boards with this prop, because Kuzma has consistently crashed the glass over the last two weeks.

Kuz has averaged a cool 11.7 rebounds over his last nine contests, though seven were without Montrezl Harrell in the lineup. Harrell (protocols, conditioning) will be back from a seven-game absence on Tuesday. That is likely driving the odds on this prop into plus-money territory. Am I scared about Harrell’s return? Abso-notley!

Tuesday's matchup with the Oklahoma City Thunder is extra juicy, as the Thunder have surrendered the most rebounds to opposing power forwards at 11.99 per game. They also allow the most rebounds per game overall at 48.7. Kuzma averages one more rebound at home than away.

VanVleet to score 25-plus points (+122)

The Over/Under on VanVleet's points prop is 22.5, and taking the Over with our NBA picks means you’re betting he’ll score at least 23. The odds on the Over are just -120, so why not bet that he’ll score at least 25 and get plus money odds? That’s a no-brainer.

VanVleet was named the Eastern Conference Player of the Week for the first time in his career for Jan. 3-9, supported by some strong stats. In four games, FVV averaged 30.3 points, 6.5 assists, 4.8 rebounds, and 2.0 steals. The Raptors went 4-0, and VanVleet scored 30 points three times.

In his last eight games, he scored at least 27 points seven times. He has scored at least 30 points six times in that span. Betting that he’ll score at least 25 feels like easy money, and if you want to spice things up even more, his odds to score 30-plus are +330.

Tuesday's matchup with the Suns has a healthy 224 Over/Under, and VanVleet will need to be at his best to help Toronto extend its win streak and topple one of the NBA’s best teams.

Morris to score 20-plus points (-104)

Morris has been the Clippers’ most reliable scorer as of late, as he has gone for at least 20 points in five of his last seven games, including a season-high 29 points against the Grizzlies on Saturday. That seven-game stretch has come following his four-game absence due to protocols, but he turned in three 20-point performances in four games prior to missing time.

That means Morris has scored at least 20 points in eight of 11 games, and he has averaged 19.9 points in that span. Clippers forward Paul George remains out indefinitely, while Luke Kennard will be sidelined again while in health and safety protocols.

Without PG13 in action, Los Angeles has relied on a combination of Reggie Jackson, Terance Mann, Eric Bledsoe and Morris to shoulder the offensive load, but Morris has easily led the team in scoring and stepped up as the go-to guy on offense.
