⬇️ Dalton Knecht player prop: Under 7.5 points (-112) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

It seems like just yesterday that Lakers head coach JJ Redick said he was drawing up plays for Dalton Knecht after the team selected him in Round 1 of the 2024 NBA Draft. Now Knecht is coming off a 3-point performance in three minutes against the Toronto Raptors on Thursday.

On the second night of a back-to-back in a different city, there's a chance that LeBron James won’t play for the Lakers. Luka Doncic might also remain out after the birth of his child. So, Knecht could play a bit more than his season average of 15.9 minutes per contest.

But that’s precisely why we're getting a prop market for Knecht anyway. He’s cleared 7.5 points in seven of his 18 games, averaging 6.6 on the year. This Under is a bit of a discount, especially if the Lakers get any positive news on tonight’s injury report.

⬆️ Anfernee Simons player prop: Over 12.5 points (+102) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

The Celtics’ injury report hasn’t been submitted yet, but Jaylen Brown missed last night’s game due to an illness. If he sits out a second straight contest, there will be more shots to go around.

Anfernee Simons’ scoring prop closed at 17.5 before last night’s game, in which he finished with 16 points. So there's room for movement on this Over.

Even if it doesn’t move, Simons is averaging 13.7 points per contest and has cleared this scoring line in 12 of his 22 games. He’s the exact type of guard who can cause the Lakers problems.

⬇️ Desmond Bane player prop: Under 31.5 points + rebounds + assists (-117) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Paolo Banchero might return from injury tonight for the Orlando Magic, which could reduce Desmond Bane’s usage. 

In 10 games without Banchero, Bane is averaging 23.1 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 4.6 assists. He’s cleared this PRA line five times over that span.

For the season, Bane is averaging 19 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 4.6 assists. He’s cleared this mark eight times in 22 contests. With Banchero potentially back as the top option, I like the immediate value of Unders for Bane’s props.

⬇️ D’Angelo Russell player prop: Under 2.5 assists (-135) ⭐⭐⭐

The Dallas Mavericks have turned to Ryan Nembhard as their lead guard, which has reduced D’Angelo Russell’s role recently. He’s failed to dish three-plus assists in three straight outings, averaging 14.3 minutes and 3.6 potential dimes over that span.

Russell has been looking to score when he’s on the floor. That becomes more difficult when facing the Oklahoma City Thunder, as he’s typically struggled with physicality in his career.
