My NBA player props tonight feature best bets on two star players - Stephen Curry and Darius Garland - while also finding value with a pair of role players from the Western Conference.

Curry has had an incredible scoring season thus far, but I’m targeting his passing prop in his matchup against the Orlando Magic. I’ve also found edges on props for Derik Queen and Ajay Mitchell as part of Monday’s NBA best bets.

Stephen Curry Over 4.5 assists (+100) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The goal for any opponent against the Warriors is to get the ball out of Curry’s hands. He’s averaging 28.8 points, so teams will take their chances with anyone else beating him by sending doubles.

As a result, Curry’s passing has gone up lately. He’s cleared this assist line in four of his previous five contests, averaging five dimes and 10.4 potential assists over that span. He recorded nine assists in his last meeting against the Magic.

Darius Garland Under 20.5 points (-106) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Darius Garland finally broke free while pouring in a season-high 35 points in Friday’s loss to the Bulls. However, that was more about volume than anything else.

Garland attempted 27 shots as Cleveland’s primary option. With Donovan Mitchell likely back in the lineup, Garland won’t get nearly as many looks. He’s averaging 16.9 points on 15 field-goal attempts per game.

Derik Queen Over 12.5 points (-115) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Derik Queen’s numbers have dropped since Zion Williamson returned, but not nearly as much as this market would indicate. Queen has cleared this line in back-to-back games, scoring 33 total points.

Since Nov. 19, Queen has averaged 15.4 points and gone past this scoring line nine times in 15 outings. He recorded 20 points on 8-of-17 shooting against the Mavericks during that stretch. Dallas ranks 23rd in defending the rim.

Between Queen’s recent usage and Williamson’s limited minutes, there's a plausible path to this Over.

Ajay Mitchell Over 11.5 points (-114) ⭐⭐⭐

I can’t seem to quit betting on Thunder guard Ajay Mitchell, who has made me quite a bit of money and remains my favorite NBA Sixth Man of the Year odds pick. Mitchell is averaging 14.1 points per game, clearing this scoring prop in 19 of his 28 contests.

There was some belief that Mitchell’s role would be reduced once the Thunder became healthy. However, he's scored 30 points and played 52 minutes in his past two contests. Mitchell scored 21 points in his previous matchup against the Grizzlies.
