That sounds like a defeated man if I've ever heard one. While I think he'll be involved on Thursday, I'd be surprised if Davis - who is known for having a passive streak at times - carries the same zeal for scoring the basketball as he did entering Game 2.

Los Angeles has started hot in both games this series, and I fully expect James to be the catalyst early in a must-win game on Thursday.

The King has trailed 0-2 in a series only nine previous times in his career, most recently in last year's Western Conference Finals against these very Nuggets. He scored five points in the first quarter of that Game 3 contest, and he'll need a similar effort to spark the Lakers on Thursday.
